Ralph Turner

UMass-Dartmouth Track and Field T-shirt on a spectator along the route of the Tyler Rose Marathon/Half Marathon.  He was surprised that someone would know about the Little East Conference.

I got the same reaction from the guy wearing a "WE ARE NESCAC" T-shirt and the Tufts Jumbos baseball cap in the Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market in Tyler. He commented that the Tufts Women won the D3 Softball Championship that was held in Tyler last spring. I hope that he checks out the site and the message boards.

Near Santa Cruz, CA I met a woman wearing a Johns Hopkins shirt. Her daughter and son in law attended.

Sat on a parking lot bus, this afternoon at ATL, with an elderly gentleman (and his wife) returning from Alfred and sporting their Alfred Saxons FB sweatshirts.  He played full back and LB for the 1964 team honored at their Homecoming game on Saturday.  Spent weekend with the undefeated, Defiance team from 1966...  ;)

This is different but I think it fits here. On Reddit's Map Porn board is the picture of E.E. Cheeseman's 1938 Map of American Football. Several now D3 schools made it onto the map. http://i.imgur.com/wPrzKM2.jpg

Not sure if this is relevant to this thread...but I found this on another website and I couldn't resist posting this here. Regardles...I think this falls under the "oh my!" category in this thread.

Creepy? Funny? Both?

(personally, I can't stop laughing every time I look at this photo ID)

2.7 seconds. An average football player may need more time to score; a great one finds a way. I've seen greatness happen.

I am used to seeing Mount Union on TV for football but their golf team just made it on ESPN for a trio of them doing a trick shot. Pretty cool shot.
