The tweet says "graduate transfer" so I imagine he'll have his degree.  The graduate options at Trinity are very limited (teaching/education and healthcare administration, I believe, and his bio says he's a Communications major).
Thanks to both of you. That makes sense. Best wishes to him.

How much did Trey King play?

Is he that good that he could get a scholarship and NIL money at a D-2 or low D-1 school to offset the expense of a Trinity education?

Thanks.

Overall 1 seeds aren't supposed to lose in round 2. Regardless, the point is I am not that confident in ST J getting selected. If the committee goes with win % it could be UWW, Wheaton, and Union, Coe/Muhl as last team in.

This is how it played out which is what I was hearing.

So if SJU 2023 was fool's gold, what non-precious metal is 2023 MUC?

under Geoff Dartt, the Raiders have resembled the 2020 precious commodity, Charmin

I can't tell if this is a troll job or just a plain old bad take.

Look, I'm not dancing on Mount Union's grave (...okay, that's not entirely true), but look at the three full years under Geoff Dart. No regular season losses, three conference titles (and thus playoff appearances), two semifinal appearances, and one trip to the Stagg Bowl. If you offered this three season stretch to any of the other 240 D-III teams, you know how many of them would take you up on it? I can probably count on one hand the number of teams that would say no thanks.
... and they wear purple jerseys. :)

We employ 2 indexes on the ASC pick'ems board.
Lazindex has NCC as 25 point favorite and Bornpowerindex (Winner of this year's ASC Pick'ems) has NCC a 27 point favorite.

Thanks, Darryl.

This is cool resource and I appreciate you continuing it.

And you're right -- first regular season poll will be released on Monday.
+1 Darryl.
Thanks

The SCAC will have five teams next season, not four as TLU comes home a year earlier than expected:

https://www.texasfootball.com/article/2023/11/21/texas-lutheran-football-to-join-the-scac-for-the-2024-season

Will make non-conference scheduling easier for the SCAC schools who will only need two - but a mess for the remaining ASC schools.
So, how much arm-twisting would it take to convince Schreiner to start up in Fall 2024?

An off-season question....

Is UMHB facing the "Bear Bryant Dilemma"? How long did it take Alabama to get the coach that it believed it deserved?

SUNY Poly from NAC to Empire 8 next season.

https://wildcats.sunypoly.edu/general/2023-24/releases/20231121f2vkw4

NAC West division now seems untenable for Delhi and Cobleskill, wonder what their plans are.

Talk about a turn of events. And no kidding with the NAC West being a bit unbalanced compared to the NAC East.

And out of hindsight, but who knows if these SUNY schools would someday apply to join the SUNYAC; while the NAC refocuses on being a New England-based conference?
Open question to knowledgeable fans from NY...

Is Morrisville State a "mission-and-vision" match for the E8 in more sports than football? Would the E8 extend an invitation to full membership to Morrisville, now that SUNY-Poly is moving?

Maryville

9/2   at Sewanee •   W, 28-8   BX RC
9/9   vs. Centre •   W, 34-23   BX RC
9/16   at Shenandoah •   W, 27-20   BX RC RC

Huntingdon

9/2   at Berry •   L, 67-34   BX
9/9   vs. Birmingham-Southern •   W, 16-0   BX
9/16   vs. Guilford •   W, 40-14   BX

Belhaven

8/31   vs. Millsaps •   W, 47-7   BX RC
9/9   at Lyon   W, 48-15   BX RC

Brevard

9/2   vs. Warner   L, 29-23   BX RC
9/9   at Hampden-Sydney •   L, 31-17   BX RC RC
9/16   vs. Averett •   L, 17-14   BX RC  (Averett went 2-5 in the ODAC)

Increasing the number of wins in out-of-conference play looks like a steep hill to climb.

Gaylon Glynn looked much less mobile this season. I was counting on his mobility in the HSU offense to be a bigger factor.

The early-season injury might have been a part of that.

Ran into Chad Grubbs on the way out who said they were down 3 starting OL before the game got underway.  That certainly had something to do with the lack of success running the ball or protecting Glynn.

That's a shame.

Good thing it wasn't a 6-4 team playing Trinity!

Rent free, I love it.
Welcome back, Weak Safety.

UW-Whitewater 42 vs Bethel 14
Union 24 @ Delaware Valley 16
Wheaton 41 vs Mount St Joseph 34
Coe 7 @ Aurora 20

3-1 for the Pool C teams in round 1
Would SJU have beaten Aurora?
