UGH - I taught Kyle and his twin sister Kayla "Sunday school" for several years - of course they were 4-5 year olds at the time.  Great kids from a great family!!

Calvin fans thank you, FDF, for playing your part in Kyle's early formation, which has now flowered into his commitment to be forever faithful to the maroon and gold.  God works in mysterious ways. ;)

Probably shouldn't have taught Sunday school in orange shorts. :-\

Found while glancing through the MLive Dream Teams from around the state this morning is a Calvin commit: 6'7" Hunter Krohn from Laker High School in the thumb.

The big man averaged 17 points and 10 rebounds per game, per the article: https://www.mlive.com/highschoolsports/2023/03/meet-the-2023-mlive-bay-city-boys-basketball-dream-team.html

Darius Welch 6-6 F  Lansing Waverly will attend Adrian

I think Adrian's getting a potentially very good player in Welch.  Waverly won their league (the excellent CAAC Blue) for first time in 17 years.  I saw them 3 or 4 times and Welch always impressed me more than anyone else on the floor.

He's quite fond of dunking but has other nice elements of his game that should get polished better in a college program, his effort on defense stood out to me, quite a ball hawk for a forward, runs the floor really well.

I think I posted it earlier this Winter but Waverly's PG Deonte "Dee" Roberts  is going to Albion for both football and basketball, not a big scorer but I think he'll find some kind of role for the Britons at some point.

Trine commit:

Isaac Richardson, 6'5 F, Avon Lake HS, Avon Lake Ohio (suburb of Cleveland).  First team All Conference and First team All Lorain County.
