What effect will the MSU NCAA Violation have on opportunity to play in Regional?
I received official word today that Montclair State University remains eligible for the regional rankings and for selection to the 2012 NCAA Tournament.

MSU's new selection profile will be taken into consideration this week with 11 games removed from its record.

Congratulations to Kean Head Coach Neil Ioviero on his 500th win, coming in the 2nd game of the NJCU DH.

NJCU's victory in the first game of the DH was the first victory of an NJCU squad over a #1 opponent.

A sports editor trying for headlines could not have scripted it better.

Congratulations to Jared Holowaty on his appointment to Head Coach at 3 time, ( '87, '93, ''00), NCAA D-3 National Champion Montclair State Baseball. He takes the place of legendary skipper Norm Schoenig, who retired in May after 26 years at the helm of MSU!!  Best of luck to Jared, (he has huge shoes to fill), and to Coach Schoenig in retirement.

Great start by the Profs. 25-3 victory over Stevens on Sunday. The Profs have heavy hitters through out the lineup including guys on the bench. Incredibly talented team in Glassboro.
Go Rowan!

Kean, William Patterson, and Stockton all having great starts to their 2019 baseball campaigns. It's going to be a tough NJAC this year.

Stockton upgraded their program.  R-Newark probably got the top hire last season.

The NJAC baseball standings are starting to heat up as the teams head into conference games.  Rowan fought hard for a victory over Rutgers-Camden yesterday showing that the competition runs deep into the league. The boys from Glassboro are on a 9 game win streak. I'm curious how the Profs will fair against the impressive TCNJ Lions later in the season.

It is somewhat surprising how Kean is doing, but they are always a threat for a NJAC title.  It was an easy prediction that Rowan and TCNJ would play of the title.  we wrote in : https://www.d3baseball.com/notables/2019/01/previews/midatlantic-preview for games to watch:

No. 6 Rowan vs No. 23 TCNJ (April 19) and Ramapo (April 20): The NJAC regular season champion could be decided this weekend when Rowan hosts the two teams favored to challenge them for the regular season title.

JD - Thank you for sharing the link. I'll read through to get a better sense of the other midatlantic teams. The preview is on point regarding Rowan. What's interesting is that arguably their best players this season have been Matt Woods and Mitch Walker. Both leading the team in hits and slugging.  Two powerful transfers who joined an already powerful lineup.

The team did lose some interesting prospects including a freshman contributor from last season, Justin Provost. Not sure where he ended up.

I think Matt Woods is the hottest hitter in D3 since March 30! He has posted incredible numbers (.508, 18 extra base hits, 26 RBIs.0 in that 13 game span. I'm hoping he's on a scout's radar.

GS   AB   R   H   RBI   2B   3B   HR   BB   IBB   SB   SBA   CS   HBP   SH   SF   GDP   K   AVG

Above all... Rowan is 12-1 in that span.

The Profs finished their regular season and await the pending NJAC tourney. Matt Woods continued his torrid pace and finished the season with 12 homers. At the moment, he's the NJAC leader in most major batting categories.

29 - 8 (.784) total season
14 - 4 (.778) conference

Profs fall in the regionals. Solid 2019 for the Profs.
