"I'm not trying to be a Debbie Downer but I think Linfield would have kicked UMHB ass... just my opinion... the game would have been at the CatDome and we always kick their ass at the CatDome." Bluenote

Hardin Simmons has still NOT won a playoff game since 2000.

It's all good D O.C.! I remember because I was at that game.

Actually, the last time UMHB visited McMinnville was early in the 2017 season. TJ Josey played QB that game.

UMHB won 24-3.

I just read the American Southwest Conference preview in DC Texas Football written by Corey Hogue.

He offers no explanation as to why he believes HSU will win the conference. He mentions that HSU returns 10 starters on both sides of the ball. He makes no mention of UMHB returners, save Kyle King.

Concerning HSU, Hogue writes:

"The Cowboys... are expected to make their first appearance in the NCAA DIII playoffs since 2018."

"HSU has every reason to believe this is its year to claim its first outright ASC title since 2004 and at least a share of its first ASC crown since 2015."

"HSU's most significant question entering fall camp is who will replace Kyle Jones at quarterback. Junior Gaylon Glynn, sophomore Drew Huff, and Henderson State transfer A.J. Hawkins are the early favorites to win the position."

He (or DC staff) predict HSU to finish first, UMHB second, and HPU third.

UMHB defeated ETBU tonight. The scoreboard is incorrect. The score should be reversed.

You were watching a JV game. UMHB streams the JV games and they are the only games that stay accessible on the UMHB website, after-the-fact.
