Just put a running clock on the 2nd half of the Fisher game. This is brutal to watch.

And yet they come back to tie the all time comeback win in program history.....
Head scratcher.
Vos rallied the troops - good to see.
Will it be fruitful in the off season and carry over.....dont know.....
3 wins is better than 2 but......its still only 3 wins
another season shot

It must have felt great for the Seniors to go out like that but surrendering a kick return for a TD with seconds left in the first half is inexcusable.

Opposing teams scored on 3 pick sixes, two fumble returns, two kick returns, a punt return and a safety. That’s horrible ball control and special teams play.

They have some exciting pieces on both sides of the ball. Cleveland is electric with the ball in his hands. Blake & Harrington are solid WRs. Duvall looks like he can be a solid RB too. On defense the front of Maddi/White/Peters is a pretty solid base and Wheeler looks like a difference maker at LB.

However that’s about all they have though. The line & QB play has been atrocious for two straight years and the defense can get gashed on the ground way too often.

There’s a reason they’ve won only 5 games the past two years and it goes beyond the players.

Again it was a good sight to behold when the team mobbed the kicker at the end but despite what the coaches say, that win does not signify they’re back where they need to be.

Turning the corner?
I dont buy it either...

I dont know guys- maybe im old, a purist or frankly just grumpy when it comes to change but Met Life Stadium?

Im not feeling this at all.

There is something to be said about having the games on campus.

Would the Carrier dome been more a valuable option?
Proximity wise absolutely but I still would rather go to Cortland or IC to catch the games

I never knew what the injury was that knocked him out.

He did look shell shocked in the games he did play tho......

Who knows- if the O line shores up a bit- he may settle in...He has a cannon for an arm--Id like to see him use it- especially with a decent crop of receivers going forward

Upstate,
the coaching staff was extremely high on Jake.
Kid has a great arm, but the fit didnt seem quite right.
Unsure how the team proceeds.
Tho---there is that possibility that Fisher wins 3 games instead of 2 :P

For the few Fisher guys still on here---what happens this off season?
Listened to Coach Vos already talking about next year and the young players that he has coming up........
Have we not heard this before?  Trust the system?

The system is broken....can we please fix it

"Running on their box will be tough"

I think the word tough is a little understated.
I think clearly that the E8 is Brockport then Cortland in terms of the 1-2, but that line of separation is wider than most think
Brockport wins by 14

I am not close to the college anymore so I have no clue if the situation is the Administration- in years past Drs Keough and Bain were supporters of the program and athletics in general.
Is coach Vos still relevant to current players and recruits?  NO idea
OC and DC?  I scratch my head.
Blip- God i hope so.

As I am sitting here basking in the afterglow of a Red Sox WS championship, I can say that it is easing the pain of another excruciatingly painful Fisher football season.
I heard coach Vos say be patient and trust the system, I understand that there were catastrophic injuries that derailed the season, I get all that.
What I dont get is any way Fisher gets out of this hole.
I am not a sky is falling Fisher fan that rants and raves when the team doesnt win the E8.......Well maybe i do a little......But folks ---the sky fell.
Fisher is at rock bottom.
What fixes this program?

Not a hole lot to talk about Pep.
Have the 2nd best team in the league hosting the cards in what looks to be yet another bloodbath.
Is it basketball season yet?

Fisher is 0-3 when facing former coaches...

They’ve been out scored 117-21 in those games...

Clean house and bring back Fox to be the Head Coach...

SMH

here we are with literally every game left on the schedule a likely L (minus the buff state game-sorry bengals)
We have taken a step backward from last years debacle and we are back to being a doormat........
sad really...

Bartman,
The "beast of the east" looks like a complete team- one worthy not only of their ranking but worthy of serious national championship discussion.
Its been a long time since Rowan was in a similar role.
I hope for the best for my cardinals, and wish brockport well as they strive for the championship---then we can buck this trend ;D

Congrats to all you Fisher guys. No "0-fer" this season.  As for my Union Dutchmen...sadly a giant step backward.  :'(   Looking forward to a future Dutchmen/Cardinal matchup.

No 0fer this year- and Im sure that the kids are glad that they got the win, but the Cards have a lot of work to do (and healing) in order to get another elusive W.
MVille came to play and beat a decent UC team.  There are really no gimme wins...period
