Very proud of those CCIW boys in Naperville!

A terrible way to lose for Wheaton. Bad spot on the 3rd down "touchdown" play...marked at the one foot line. Then a TD but a spiked ball penalty. And then roughing the kicker...but Wheaton had too many men on the field????

Congrats to a very good St. Johns team.

And congrats to a very good, and resilient, North Central team. I'm a Cards fan now!

Did anyone think this would go down to the last 9 seconds?

Doesn't look so ugly to me.

These guys at NCC do great work on these highlight videos. Watch this if you haven't already.

This is one really great game. Very entertaining. And I don't think anyone thought it would be in the high 20s in the 2nd.

Mount Union vs...Mount Union? This looks good! Yeah, I'm a CCIW fan.

Interesting to see UMHB and Whitewater in the same section.

Greg is doing a good job calling the North Park/Gustavus match this afternoon. He has "almost" mastered that true and authentic Swedish pronunciation of the names of those Viking imports ;D

Are we sure Tufts would host in a Sectional pod that included Hopkins?  I would think Hopkins is ranked higher than Tufts, but maybe that changed in the past week?  Anyone have any insight on this?

It's close, for sure — JHU might actually have the edge in terms of proximity to South Atlantic participants — I just have the feeling that Tufts' last week of results may be decisive (save for the Blue Jays' superior winning pct., and acknowledging their Centennial Conference triumph). Maybe that's my New England bias. FWIW, D3soccer.com has Tufts ranked one spot higher, although that's not an indicator or selection criteria for hosting.

Correct! While highly accurate  ;D, our rankings don't have any impact on the NCAA committee and their decisions.

I watched most of the North Central/IWU game (while also watching the Wheaton/Carthage game), and I thought that there were a few of those fluky plays that pop up once in a great while that add 14 points to the score. The last three minutes of the first half were really bad for the Titans, for example. Overall, regardless of Norm's opinion, the Cards are a lot better than the Titans!

(wow, that QB is really good. IWU had no answer for his accuracy)

I like how the Falcons have kept pushing, even when it appeared to me that North Park was controlling the last 15 minutes or so. Their discipline is impressive.

North Park needs to act like they really want this. Messiah sure the heck does.
