Yep, I'm guessing Calvin recruited Pedersen much harder than Hope.  PG Luke Scheffers still on the board for Calvin.  A Hope target as well who also happens to have an offer from D1 Northern Illinois. A great passer and scorer, would be a huge get

D2 Lewis and Grand Valley State as well.

Calvin's schedule is posted, if that hasn't made it to the board yet.

https://calvinknights.com/sports/mbkb/2020-21/schedule

It currently lists Augustana twice on Friday Nov 20 and Sat 21, but I'm guessing one of those is Illinois Wesleyan which would complete the four-year cycle.

Non-conference slate is Illinois Tech, UW-Stout, Augustana, (Illinois Wesleyan), Anderson, Wheaton, Wooster Tournament (x2), Cornerstone, Aquinas, and THE Grace Christian University.

So they're now the Christian Tigers instead of the Bible Tigers?

Nope, always the Bible Tigers

I think it might actually be Bibletigers - at least that's the way it has always been used around here :)

I think it was one word in the original Old Testament Greek.

Neither. KS was merely expressing his preference for going with the traditional method of exegesis when dealing with the biblical text.

Old Knight, wouldn't KS's preference instead be for Old Testament geek?

Nope. KS, scholar that he is, remains convinced the Septuagint is merely a badly corrupted translation of the Hebrew, Old Testament text.

Hope's roster will be so deep with bigs next year.  Will be very interesting to see where they end up.  Could have a great JV squad

An effective face-up, low post scorer. Understands the principle of leverage and it's use in "pinning" an opponent to create a low post scoring opportunity or to enable a rebounding advantage on the defensive end. Not a long range shooter. Speed is not his game. Much better in a patterned/set offensive scheme than in more of a free flowing, motion offense.
