It looks like there is a silver lining amongst the craziness of this football "season" for at least one student-athlete. Apparently Evan Lewandowski will be able to participate with the team this fall and still fulfill the "sit out" requirement imposed by the WIAC.

Should be an interesting QB situation there in 2021 if Meylor and Oles each choose to pursue remaining eligibility
And there are a couple of pretty prolific freshman expected to join the mix as well. It will be a talented room, that's for sure.

What's your thoughts on claiming a national title if some schools do end up playing this season and others do not? If some of the schools that are legitimate contenders for the title don't play this season does it feel like less of a championship than if everyone was playing?

Can anyone debate that the Cru have had 4 of the best MLB's to ever play D3 football?P. Meyers,J. Freeman,J. Jones, and Jones. Has any school been as sound at middle linebacker as UMHB?

Wonder how that appeal is going for UMHB concerning the forfeiture of their NC for 2016? A little closure from the NCAA would be nice since sports is not on the agenda for the foreseeable future.

Don't forget about Benton at WR also. I think this will be his year.

With Bowden at QB with speed and hoping for a back with some speed we will be a pick your poison team to defend. Hope that off season has those lineman getting stronger also

I don't know if this has been posted but Caleb Eagans has committed to UMHB for his last year of eligibility. Texas A&M grad, Wide Receiver and the scoop is he has some NFL prospects post 2020, but who knows right. I'm just happy to see a possible speedy WR much like KJ Miller.
KJ is back also.

Yea he looks promising as a quicker back. Saw that Fred Fleeks is considering the Cru and he looks like a pretty good all around athlete. I did see that all the Temple players were going to Permian Basin but I believe we still let some really good talent in the Central Texas area get away and we concentrate on the Houston, San Antonio, and those areas a little more. We can't argue with the results we have been having but living in the Temple-Belton area it is always nice to be cheering on some local athletes after watching their high school carreers.

Yea I am really not sure what the Cru are looking for in a running back when Temple had a kid that could really scoot and they didn't seem to go after him. Their track record is a bigger back that gets the tough yards but struggles taking it to the house from any distance. Would be nice to have a back that is a threat on every play to score but what do I know. With that crazy zone blocking we do it would be beneficial to have a back that could hit the holes fast and cut on a dime.

OL, Matthew Komasincki is another commit for the CRU. Getting some size on the line this cycle, and some speed at the skill positions. Lets get this spring ball started

Looks like they have a dual threat QB from Bullard signing also. He had 1800 passing and 1200 running yards. Tristen Shewmake
