To answer my own question....  ;D

https://cruathletics.com/schedule.aspx?schedule=146

Odd that UHMB is playing HSU in Belton, and Sul Ross in Alpine, two years in a row.

Are we sure this is correct?  I thought Albright backed out of their trip down to Belton.

I think that was more of a rumor/speculation, anything is possible but in December they announced a fund raising campaign for the trip so it seems like the game is on.

It is odd about HSU and SRS though. HSU hasn't updated their schedule but SRS has and it confirms that the game is in Alpine again, have to think it was a request of one of the schools or some sort of by product of all the conference changes we have gone through the last few years.

I can confirm that HSU is travelling to Belton again this season. ASC did some scheduling rearrangements and that is the way the cards fell. Looking forward to the great hospitality of the UMHB fans again.

For anyone interested Blake Jackson was recently interviewed for the Spring League podcast. Good 30 minute interview in which he talks about his progression from high school to Southeastern Missouri State to UMHB to eventually the Browns.

Checking in. Anddd gotta admit a little bummed but not surprised that UMHB keeps the machine rolling with such a good recruiting class. Hopefully y'all can run it back; has UMHB ever won 2 in a row? That would be cool, almost as cool as an ETBU upset this year lol

Two in a row for Stagg Victories...no, (Not yet) :) but three appearances in Staggs in a row yes.

Mr. Ypsi

The only teams to win two or more in a row are UWW (3, plus 2), UMU (3 twice, plus 2), and Augustana (4).  I suspect that Augie's 4 straight will never be broken as parity at the top has grown.  A couple of those years (1983-1986), nobody was gonna beat Augie unless they beat themselves.  In the last couple of decades there have always been at least two, and usually 3, 4, or 5 teams fully capable of running the table even if other elite teams played very well.

Please say a prayer for UMHB QB Jase Hammack as he has surgery to repair torn ligaments and bone chips in his ankle. The one he rolled at the end of the St Johns game.

Dear LORD,
We  pray for a successful surgery so that he is not hobbling on a bad ankle when he is 60 years old.
Amen.

That is my thought about big bad joint injuries that athletes get.

He's out and everything went good but he had a lot more damage than what they thought. /quote]
