Colby College hires Tracey Leone.

Also an interesting (to me, at least) assistant hire at Trinity, former Vassar HC Corey Holton.

This is not a D3 coaching change but it is still of interest. Jim Conlon, who served as WashU's coach for 12 successful seasons, is stepping down as Grand Valley State's HC after one season. In Conlon's one and only season at GVSU, the team went 24-1-2 and won the D2 NCAA championship. The press release on the GVSU website seems somewhat concerning. I hope all is well with Conlon and his family. He's a good guy.

Anyone in the Massachusetts area know anything about the open jobs? There are a bunch of schools that have not announced new coaches like Springfield and Wellesley. It seems like those jobs have been open for awhile.

Both Springfield and Wellesley are in situations where their staffs are handling things through the end of the school year. No rush on hiring/announcing a new head coach.

Caitlin Pickul got the Wellesley job. She was HC at Nichols College the last two years. Springfield hired Kristin Cannon, who was AD and girls soccer coach at Poly Prep in Brooklyn.

Major move impacting a UAA program that had made enormous strides in recent years: Jen Simonetti has left Case Western Reserve to take the head coaching job at Akron. Not sure what's happening with her main assistant at CWRU, Josh Kay, but he may be heading to Akron as well. Needless to say, the timing is really rough here but this is a prime D3 WSOC job.
