ECAC games have been released! 2 from the E8 and 2 from the LL are among the field. Morrisville travels to RPI. https://ecacsports.com/news/2022/11/14/football-ecac-announces-2022-division-iii-bowl-game-pairings.aspx
These games will be interesting for the LL participants . I think the RPI defense should make this a tough game for the Mustangs. Hobart , while losing the game on two insane turnovers, held the Mustangs to 167 yards of offense while Hobart moved for 349 yards but only generated 13 points. I'm expecting an RPI Defense to hold the line; however, the question is always whether the RPI offense will show up.
Hobart travels to a strong PAC member in W&J, and hopefully they will have another happy bus coming back to Geneva, when they beat Westminster last year .W&J is a great test and will make  this up and down season a "feel good" year. with a win.

Know why Hobart did not get sent to Westminster since that game happened last year. Any chance of a Brockport- Washington & Jefferson matchup probably went out the window for the same reason regardless of which one hosted.

What has me totally baffled, assuming Westminster was agreeable to hosting, is how in the hell did Westminster end up traveling? A reasonable argument can be made that of the eight teams in the field they could have been easily "seeded" second, behind only Washington & Jefferson.

Equally baffling is how the hell did Grove City get a home game? A reasonable argument can be made that of the eight teams in the field they could have been easily "seeded" second from the bottom, ahead of only FDU.

Again, assuming Westminster had any desire to host, why did not FDU get sent to Westminster and Grove City get sent to Brockport??

P.S. How about this for a probable future problem as it relates to ECAC Bowl games. Next year the now eleven member PAC will only be playing conference games. The problem is that the bottom six in that conference have about as much chance of beating the top five as a Hallmark movie has of ending without a lip lock!!! Even if any of the top group got swept by the other top four teams, they would still only have four losses and could possibly snatch an ECAC bid away from someone else by merely filing a declaration. Should there be a limit established on how many teams from a conference can receive an ECAC bid? Like three??? Common sense!!!

Is Rowan and CNU not ECAC members?

ECAC website story repeatedly refers to WILLIAM & Jefferson....
You'd think the third-winningest team (771 wins) in NCAA Division III would not be misidentified...

Been wrong before.  Will be wrong again.
