That must have been a real nail-biter.  Great season by Webster to come back from an 0-7 start to go extra innings in the regional final.

Not to mention beating the #1, #2, and #3 seeds en route to the final!

Regional pairings are out. Carthage is the 1 seed in their regional at Moline, Il., which is Augustana's home facility.  Very nice field.  It is a six team regional, with Millsaps as the 2 seed and Whitewater the 3.  Concordia River Forest also made the tournament, and is in the regional in Michigan.  Former Carthage 3rd base coach of 8 years Adam Smith is in his first season as the head assistant at CURF

That is great news, Frank.

The Carthage-Fontbonne game has been officially rained out, according to the Carthage website.

Just Bill

The whole day is rained out.  They'll try again tomorrow with the same schedule, just pushed back 1 day.

Ok, so I know Carthage has pretty good team speed, but is Fontbonne's catcher and pitchers just terrible or what?  Carthage is running all over them...

BigPoppa

Carthage is up 8-2 in the 5th.

Redmen are currently 8-11 with 2 outs and 5-9 with runners in scoring position... compared to 0-4 with RISP for Fontbonne.

What's the deal with "Live" stats????  Once again, they are only updating at the end of every half inning...that's not 'LIVE"!!!!
