9/28 (Sat) 1:00pm  (H)  John Carroll (14-5-2) [OAC 2-seed, runner-up, NCAA 2nd Rnd]
10/5 (Sat) 7:30pm  (H)  Alvernia (8-11-2) [C-wealth 5-seed]
10/8 (Tue) 7:00pm  (H)  Arcadia (5-11-1)

10/30 (Wed) 7:00pm  (H)  Stevenson (12-9-1) [C-wealth 4-seed, semifinals]

Non-Conference Opponents:
Retained (4): Dickinson, York (Pa.), Elizabethtown, Eastern Mennonite
Dropped (6): #9 Cortland State, #21 Johns Hopkins, #10 Montclair State, Misericordia, Whitworth, Hartwick
Added (6): Hobart, John Carroll, Salisbury, Ithaca, Penn State-Harrisburg, Muhlenberg

Lost three Top 25 teams and didn't gain any Top 25 teams.  Hobart, John Carroll, Salisbury and Ithaca are each solid opponents, but collectively it would appear to be a weaker schedule based on last year.  No opponents who finished ranked in the Top 25 last year, and only two who received any votes in the final poll. Only 4 opponents made last year's NCAA tournament, none advancing past the 2nd Round.

Men's soccer / 2018 Season - National Perspective
« on: March 26, 2018, 10:13:20 pm »
I figured with schedules and recruiting classes being released, discussion from this point forward will be focused more on the coming season than on last season, so it made sense to create a new thread for the 2018 season.

Men's soccer / MLS SuperDraft - Whitworth's Michael Ramos selected
« on: January 20, 2015, 09:09:17 pm »
Whitworth's Michael Ramos was selected by Toronto FC in the 3rd round of the MLS SuperDraft with the 50th overall pick.  The forward was named D3soccer.com 2nd Team All-American and NSCAA 1st Team All-American.  He spent just his senior year at Whitworth after playing semi-professionally in Sweden and Iceland following a year at Division I Seattle Univ.  He wasn't at the MLS Player Combine, but participated in a couple other invite-only combines hosted by professional teams, one which was co-hosted by the Seattle Sounders (MLS), Toronto FC (MLS), New York Cosmos (NASL), and Indy Eleven (NASL) in Las Vega in December.
