Great start vs Wartburg. Excellent call.

I saw the predictions from our friends at d3football, and I would have to agree with their scores.
Looks like Bethel has a hard time scoring against tougher opponents. Offense was shutout against Wartburg and just one TD against SJU (who UWW had their way with). I don't see things being much different at the Perk tomorrow....but I could be wrong. I'm not taking anything for granted, considering last year's round-one exit. Hopefully that's fresh in the upperclassmen's minds when going into the game. Something I'm sure they don't want to repeat.
I'm thinking something around 31-13 tomorrow. (that might be a conservative guess, we'll see)
Well 02, you were close in your prediction, at least for Bethel. The Warhawks gave the Royals great field position for the first Bethel touchdown. Hopefully, the special teams issues will get cleaned up for round 2.
Offensively, the Warhawks were solid with multiple big plays leading to touchdowns. Looking forward to the next round.

As long as you're talking recruiting - UWW's success has been a positive for recruiting in the Chicago/No Illinois area. Will NCC's rise to prominence hurt that a bit?
Chicago suburban recruiting area. So many of UWW championship players came from Chicago suburbs. Definitely having a second DIII power in your recruiting area cuts into your recruiting success ratio.

Looks like he celebrated five years being married this past summer and has a toddler.
It's weird, 10 years later, that the guy from California who roots for a team in Oregon is hung up over a marijuana charge.
This is actually a really good example of how the world has changed. Who gives a f*** at this point?

Reading stories today saying Nebraska needs to look at Lance Leipold for head coach. Awesome!

One of UWW's greatest games since I've been watching.
Bleed was right on. Seriously have never seen such a transformation from one week to the next. So many players making so many clutch plays. Lewandowski was incredible.

A FG attempt? Confidence in the offense is zero %.

Two horrible officiating calls, but even with that, reality is that UMHB is outplaying UWW.

Not sure why Bullis didn't call timeout on 3rd and 5 at end of half. See if you can get a return or block a punt. Not much downside.
Wondered the same. Maybe he's thinking he'd rather not give UMHB any more chances until he can make D adjustments at half. UWW gets the ball to start 2nd half.
If UWW can come out, take the 2nd half kick off and sustain a TD scoring drive, UWW is back in it. UMHB will start to feel some pressure.

Question...was that targeting reversal a good call? I thought it was obvious targeting.

Agreed. We are way to tentative and too conservative on offense.
