Dips win 13___the mules put up a great effort and really deserved to win.unfortunately some terrible clock management in the final 90 seconds by the coaching staff turned the game. A phantom defensive holding penalty did not help either.but this old mule was very proud of the kids, hopefully next year will be as good as this one was.have a safe day and airborne all the way.

What a tough way for the Mules to end their season!  They were such a talented team this year and I feel for those guys to go down the way they did.  I wasn't able to watch but saw the box score and recap... Was there anyone who was there/ tuned in who can shed a little light on how it all went down in the last couple of minutes in the 4th?

DipsWin13
Not sure if you read the MAC board, but I put a summary of the last 6 minutes on the board...Only video would do it justice however...not sure if a replay is available.  I will check...

just watched the replay of the game on livestream...(at around 2:38 in the broadcast) you will see the holding penalty you mention...it was not phantom...the linebacker mugged the receiver coming across the middle...it's clear in the video...

Anyone have any thoughts?  Major disagreements with the picks?  Anything?

Udinski must be a stud, beacuse Palladino is really really good....

Looks like there's going to be a new face at the helm of the Crusaders for the first time in a quarter of a century, as Susquehanna head coach, Steve Briggs is going to be transitioning into a new role as a development officer for the university for their upcoming capital campaign.

Great to see you back old ends!  Really looking forward to this upcoming CC season.  So I'll volunteer to step up and do the pick'em this season (many thanks to the hard work of NJF1003 their hard work the past few seasons!)  If it's amendable to everyone, I'd like to try something a little bit different this season that might generate a little bit of interest, I think should be a fun addition to our tradition, and will be a truer test of CC football knowledge: a confidence interval pick'em pool (for a full explanation, see: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/pro-football-pickem/SLN6640.html?impressions=true)

Previously, we've picked winners and losers of each matchup with a non-Centennial tie-breaker.  After each week (and the end of the season) we add up who got the most games correct, and then award a winner.  For a confidence pool, we still pick winners of games, but then there's a small added step of weighting the confidence of those picks to award points.

Each week, you'll assign a point value from 1 (least confident) to 10 (most confident) to the result of each game based on how strongly you feel about the accuracy of your selections. If your selection is correct, you'll receive points equal to the confidence-point value you associated with that game.  If you pick the winner incorrectly, you'll receive 0 points.

For instance, if you're extremely confident that Johns Hopkins is going to win (shocker) you'd assign it as the match up that you're most confident in, and if they do win, you would get that value added to your weekly (and overall) score.

You'll be able to make your picks weekly on a form that will be housed here: http://tinyurl.com/CCFBPickEm2015

So three steps:
1) Enter your user name and select the week you're making picks for.

2) Pick the winner of each game.

3) Select your confidence score for each game.

Full album with high resolution photos can be found here: http://imgur.com/a/GEfEL

Three added bonuses of this system (in my mind) are:
1) It eliminates the non-CC tie-breaker (that I'm fairly certain everyone just guessed on anyways)
2) If someone misses a week, it won't cripple them for the overall season standings.
3) It should help make tallying up the scores easier.

Once I see how it goes, I'll see if I can either upload the scoresheet directly, or tally them up and post.  I already have the games entered for week one.  I hope you all might be willing to try this out, and if it ends up being too difficult, we can reevaluate.  Hope I haven't made this sound more difficult than it actually is!  If you have any questions or thoughts, feel free to post and I'll try to clear it up.

So once again, go to the following link to make your picks, and best of luck to everyone!: http://tinyurl.com/CCFBPickEm2015
