So what Conference changes are happening for the 2013 Season?

Ralph Turner

Year #2 of provisional status for the Southern Athletic Association (SAA).  The conference will have new programs at Berry and Hendrix to give them 7 full members. As I understand it, they will be a full Pool A conference in 2014-15.  The SAA is a Pool B conference in 2013

The SCAC will have four full members (Austin College, Trinity, Southwestern and Texas Lutheran) to qualify as a championship awarding conference.  Southwestern adds football and Texas Lutheran will move from the ASC.  They will be in Pool B and for the foreseeable future.

CNU will remain in the USA South as an affiliate for one more year.  Huntingdon joins the USA South as a full member, (and IMHO moves to the top as the team to beat).

Mississippi College departs the ASC to return to the D-2 Gulf South Conference.

Has that been determined, that they'll be out of the ASC a year before moving to Division II?

I am not sure, but the conference doesn't want to put up with another team...shall we say

don't let the door hit you on your way out!

Finding a 10th game will be easier if they have MC.
