Not sure if this fits here, but as I was driving home from work last night in downtown Roanoke, I saw a Keith McMillian clone stick his head out the window of the car next to me. (at least I assume it wasn't the real Keith)

Mind you, it didn't look like present-day Keith; it was Keith from, like, seven years ago. Looked kind of like the person in his D3 mugshot. ;D ;D

Hmmm ... I did recently loan Keith my time machine.  I wonder ... ?

2.7 seconds. An average football player may need more time to score; a great one finds a way. I've seen greatness happen.

Big time Wheaton mix-up...

Today Show anchor Ann Curry gave the commencement address at Wheaton College (Massachusetts) but gave shout-outs to Rev Billy Graham, Wes Craven and Todd Beamer.

http://www.boston.com/ae/celebrity/more_names/blog/2010/05/where_am_i_the_crowd.html

She is clearly not a D3 fan, because she would have known the difference.  Wheaton College Illinois is in the CCIW, their baseball coach is Lee Driggers and they play football.  Wheaton Massachusetts doesn't play football and is in the NEWMAC.

What I would have loved to have seen was a panorama of the faculty and students when she mentioned those other Wheaton alumni before the Wheaton Mass audience.

I see a BSC plate holder twice a week at our church; our organist is a BSC grad who just completed his MM in Organ Performance at the U of Texas and is starting on his Ph.D. in the fall.  He was flabbergasted the first time I met him and started talking about the school - he said it was the first time anyone in Austin had ever heard of it.   ;)

I saw an elderly couple wearing Lebanon Valley sweatshirts at a small Catholic School carnival in Phillipsburg NJ.  Not that unusual, a lot of kids from that area of NJ attend MAC and CC schools as well as NJAC schools.

I know I didn't really see this first-hand but I was watching Inside the Actor's Studio yesterday and learned that the guy who plays the voice of Cleveland Brown (Family Guy and the Cleveland Show) is a Washington and Lee alum.

And why was the cast of Family Guy featured on Inside the Actor's Studio in the first place?
