Olddog, I reckon I would really enjoy an afternoon chat with you over a cold brew or two.
You can meet him halfway in Hawaii.

I would be surprised if olddog had ever met anyone half way.  :D

Berea to the HCAC. Drops most men's sports to six. Does CCS add MUW to stay above that?

Curious to know if teams are staying in Marshall or drawing into Longview for hotels and food.  Marshall does not have much to offer.

Do they have any choice, or do they have to go wherever the NCAA assigns them?

Interesting results so far ...
#7 Coe pulls the upset of the day with a 3-0 upset over #2 Linfield
#8 Moravian says hold my beer, winning 4-1 over top-seeded Salisbury
#5 Berry continues the theme with a 3-0 victory over #4 CNU
#3 Trine plays #6 Rowan later this evening

I wonder with the Berea announcement, could Asbury soon be joining as well to make it an even 12?

That was my first thought as well, particularly since it adds another Kentucky school to the HCAC.

An even dozen would allow the HCAC to realign itself into two balanced divisions.

And Moravian gains a berth in the softball version; they are the lowest seed.

8th seed Moravian knocks off #1 Salisbury in 1st bracket game; need at least 2 more wins to reach the finals.

In baseball, 8th seed Miseri plays #1 Johns Hopkins tomorrow in opening bracket game.

Rose-Hulman narrowly beat Transylvania for the Commissioner's Cup 140.16 to 140 becoming the first non-Hanover school to win since Rose in 2017-18. Hanover, Franklin, and Anderson rounded out the top 5.

Transylvania won the women's crown with 79.66 easily beating Hanover (69.67), Rose-Hulman (59.66), and Franklin (56).

Personally, I'd add 10 bonus points to Transy for a national title
