Solid-sounding recruit for Trinity:

http://www.newenglandrecruitingreport.com/news/commitment-catch-up-58

Trinity College got an absolute steal in Cushing Academy forward Francis Uzorh. The 6-foot-5 forward arrived at Cushing last year from Indiana has played in consecutive Class AA finals in his two years with the Penguins. Most recently, he was a key contributor for the team that won the NEPSAC championship and earned a subsequent birth in the National Prep Championship field. A chiseled forward with a high motor and improved skill set, Uzorh is an undeniable scholarship level talent who will make an immediate impact in the NESCAC.

Congrats to Wesleyan assistant coach Max Sass on his 30 under 30 honoree!

Mr. Ypsi

DIII men's BB final four is leaving Salem after this next season.  Moving to Fort Wayne for the following four years.  Could be extra incentive for the new Amherst Mammoths, as the arena is the home court for the DI IPFW Mastodons - can aim for a family reunion! ;D

Mr. Ypsi...nice thought, though I 'm not clear wrt the difference in the names.  Plus K
Actually, I'm going to miss Salem, Va.  But it will allow me to visit when the Amherst women return to the Final 4 :).
Going to the Midwest will bring back some good memories for me.  Had to make trips to the southern part of the state for work.  Stayed in Bloomington which allow me see some MBB games there, visit nearby Nashville, and take part in a Amish meal with friends.

Interesting article on longtime Colby assistant coach Swish Mitchell, including a funny anecdote from his more well known (unless you're Bob Cousy) brother George: http://www.centralmaine.com/2017/04/22/the-story-of-swisher-will-be-told-forever/

Williams' 2016-17 highlight video posted, including a lot of nice highlights from the NCAA run (and I know that it doesn't include many -- any? -- highlights from losses, but it's a shame that Aronowitz's incredible buzzer-beater at halftime of the Final Four game was not included ... perhaps a rights issue?):

I just heard that former Williams Assistant Coach Mick Hedgepeth just got the head coaching job at Sewanee! Mick is a very high quality person, and a terrific young coach! Congratulations to Mick!

Info about two Hamilton pick-ups for next year:

Tyler Washington, 6'4" G Avon Old Farms (CT) ...

http://www.newenglandrecruitingreport.com/news/aof-duo-comes-off-the-board

"Washington and his twin brother, who doubles as a star on the football field, came to Avon from Florida as post-graduates. Tyler was committed to division I Air Force in the class of 2016 before opting to re-open his recruitment. Now, his addition is a major score for Hamilton as they strive to climb up the ranks in the NESCAC, arguably the premier athletic and academic league in division III.
Washington is a lively and athletic wing with big shoulders, long arms, and a measured 6-foot-10 wingspan. He attacks in the open floor, has good slashing tools, and is equally impactful on the defensive end as well as the glass."

Spencer Kendall, 6'5" F Lexington HS (MA) ...

http://www.newenglandrecruitingreport.com/news/commitment-catch-up-55

"[Middlesex] Magic product Spencer Kendall, a 6-foot-5 forward ... had a very strong spring and summer, stringing together impressive showings at the Elite 75 Academic Experience, All-Tournament nods at the Super 16 Showcase and another strong outing at the Elite 75 College Showcase. Learning under longtime NESCAC coach Reggie Hobbs, now the head coach at Lexington, Kendall has developed into an intriguing prospect with his combination of size, athleticism, evolving skill and the consequent ability to play multiple positions."

A third commit is a 6'8" C/PF from Maryland ...

Hamilton is absolutely loaded at the wing for the next two years, between those two recruits, Grassey, Gilmour, Hoffmann and Tim Doyle -- a plethora of athletic scoring options between 6'3 and 6'5.  Hamilton has a solid veteran point guard in Dwyer and center in Groll as well.  Lack of depth on the interior is the only real issue so if the C/PF from Maryland can play right away, a more experienced Hamilton team should be pretty loaded next year and could be ready to challenge for a top-2 spot in the league (and they should be even better in two years).

Michael McEneney - St. Stephens & St Agnes School (Maryland).

He's listed at 6'9" 235 lbs on a few websites.

Who and where?

The school is in Alexandria, VA; however, it's possible that the player lives in nearby MD. He averaged 3.5 ppg; game-by-game stats have become unavailable on the Washington Post site now that the season is over.

ronk...glad you are on it!  Was going to point out that the third Hamilton recruit is from a private school in Va.  it is a school that does not "recruit" talent normally from the D.C. Metro area...from Md.or DC.  In any case, his size is a noted.
