Does UMHB archive game videos?  I'd like to rewatch the game and see the things I missed in person.

Despite having to share the last three games with the next opponent, UMHB has taken to blocking their archived games for what I presume they think is some kind of competitive advantage.  It's silly (UWW is getting all-22 of that game anyway) because I'd really like to watch the game in its entirety also.

I don't know if I mentioned this, but UWW is already going to see that game, so blocking it from everybody is stupid and petty.

They've always done it. This year isn't any different.

I noticed it first after we played hsu the first time. I was never able to find anymore game film from then on. I guess someone has a reason

Surely we know the reason. Mt. Union. With Mt's snoozer schedule, UMHB knows the purple raiders would be watching UMHB game film for 4 weeks.

This is a joke, this is only a joke, sort of.

I hope it's not a joke. That would leave them very ill prepared for the Stagg Bowl.  ;)

The stadium announcer had a problem with Auger.  Which is a really tough one that took me a long time to catch on to.

Their radios got it right--I was amazed!

It's been like that all season you will also notice the many if not most of the schools are following suit. I used to enjoy my mondays after the weekend watching various games, all of those teams have removed their archived footage...

Enjoyable podcast...

http://www.d3blogs.com/d3football/2018/12/03/around-the-nation-podcast-229-gutting-it-out/

Keith talks about the grind of the 15 game season and how hard it is.

He said no one else does that.

For readers outside the state of Texas, the University Interscholastic League Championship in football is 16 games.

Thanks Ralph, for reminding me once again that Euless Trinity only made it to the Regional Semis.. and lost to Southlake Carroll..SOUTHLAKE CARROLL, why is it always southlake... But you know what being a 6A-DI program they play in very rarefied air. That list of teams in the state playoffs is daunting.
Meanwhile in DIII tawk...I believe UW-W always brings poor weather with them when they come to town. Last time we played them at the Cruthedral the field temps were in the 30s. 2007 The temperature was 7 degrees at kickoff, and the field was 100 yards of frozen mud. The Warhawks won that one 16-7.
Next up was a semifinal battle in 2008 in Belton, where the wind blew between 20 and 30 mph throughout the afternoon. Last year in this round in Belton it was nice and in the 60s.. the year before.. nice and in the 60s....This trip it is looking like cold and possibly rainy....it is part of the UW-W curse....Warhawks.. or storm crows?  :D

Like Pat said, oh-ZHAY is what he's called at SJU, but I don't think I've ever heard anyone outside of SJU pronounce it that way.

Is it French?
Or, here in east Texas, is that Cajun?

When everyone was commenting on the mispronunciations, I thought "Cajun", oh-ZHAY.

Belton and Bell County are in the Texas geographical area called the Blackland Prairie. This strip of land runs roughly along the east side of I-35 from San Antonio north to the Sherman (think Austin College)-Denison area.

Between 1900-1920, more cotton was raised in this area than anywhere else in the world.  Dallas was built on cotton money, (think Cotton Bowl), the brokering and trading of cotton.  In fact, Dallas County Texas was one of the Top 10 cotton growing counties in Texas into the 1950's.

Hence, the importance of cotton gins.  Enjoy!
