Following the lead of our friends at D3football.com, I tried my hand at ranking the Top 10 conferences in Division III men's basketball over the last four years. You can read the piece here:

For this first go-round, I kept the written piece limited to the top 10. But I did rank the Top 20 so here's my next best 10.

11) NEWMAC
12) NJAC
13) OAC
14) SUNYAC
15) MIAA
16) IIAC
17) Landmark
18) MAC Commonwealth
19) Centennial
20) Little East

I am just glad to get a #9 for the ASC.  Besides, the ASC has NEVER hosted a 3rd or 4th round men's game in the 20 years of playing in D3!  Something about Geographic Proximity! (To my best recollection. I don't think Mississippi College ever hosted the Round of 16/8.)

Gordon, how many points is the home court advantage for the playoff team hosting a team that has flown to that site?  Has anyone run those numbers recently?  Thanks.
