You beat my Raiders. Now beat Delaware Valley. Best to ya the rest of the way.
Go Cardinals!  ;D

When UWW played at Wheaton back in 15 I believe the QB club made arrangements w a local establishment to open early. We had a great turnout, if only I could remember the name.
Bottom line, call some places in advance if you have a large enough group.

Predictions this weekend:

#2 Mary Hardin-Baylor 38, #7 UW-Whiterwater 31

#3 Wheaton 41, #8 St. John's 38

#4 Muhlenberg 30, #6 Salisbury 23

#5 North Central 45, #9 Delaware Valley 23

Setting up another Wheaton trip to Texas, and a North Central trip (???) to Pennsylvania. Just assuming NCC travels in this one.

If NCC wins, I think it's certain they travel regardless of the outcome out East.

Agreed -- Salisbury and Muhlenberg are the 1 and 2 seeds out there and are unbeaten. Either one would host.

Got ya. Wasn't sure if they re-seeded or not round by round.

I have a hard time believing Wheaton could give up 38 to anyone.   I've said it before that this is the best Wheaton defense I've seen in my 30+ years around the CCIW.

Whitewater rented out Muldoon's in downtown Wheaton which has since closed.

What is the parking situation at Wheaton?

Parking at Wheaton isn't a great situation, especially now with the students back on campus. The lot at the Billy Graham Center right next to McCully Stadium is the best bet but it fills up quickly. There are also open spots at Joe Bean Stadium, which is just past McCully Stadium. It's not a surprise to those CCIW faithful but can be to new opponents to a reminder to Johnnie fans that Wheaton is a dry campus so you'll have to find a spot elsewhere for your pregame libations before making your way over.
You win some, you lose some, and sometimes it rains.

There's a lot directly West of the field that has some space but it fills up quick.  (As do the smallish visitors stands).  Parking gets tough after that lot fills up. Get there early would be my advice!

How did I find this post you might ask?  My wife and extended family all went to Wheaton and her uncle's the track coach there.  He found it...

I hope you're right on the NCC game.

I was able to watch the Round 2 Del Val vs. Wesley game.  Del Val has some guys who can rush the passer... especially #7.  #97 can get home, too.  I would also imagine that they will come after Rutter early and often with pressure.  They strike me as the type of team that would rather die being super aggressive than by playing coverage and having Rutter singing them a lullaby.  Especially after seeing the MU performance.  Of course, teams have come after Rutter before and he has burned them big time.  And NCC's o-line is a bunch of studs who are adept at picking up blitzes, stunts, etc.  But I can see the some additional throw aways, incompletions, etc in this game.  I hope Greenfield is healthy.  I saw he went out at the end of the MU game.  I have a lot of faith in 42 and 22 to carry the load if he is out.  They are both very talented.

Del Val has some speed on offense that NCC will need to handle.  They will probably run a trick play at some point.  That may result in a big play or two for Del Val.  NCC will spike the rat a couple of times.

Del Val will come into this game with a chip on their shoulder and an "us against the world" attitude.... everyone in D3 land is talking about NCC right now.  That combined with the above will make this a closer game IMO.

Fortunately, NCC has an amazing coaching staff that will have a plan for all of this and a supremely talented (and hungry) team that will handle the challenge.

38-20.  NCC wins.
