Too soon.

Also guys if you haven't already, check out this week's ATN podcast.  Lengthy and very good conversation about Wabash/Thomas More and some good first hand insight from Adam Turer who was there to cover for D3football.com.

LGs have monopolized Pat's postseason game ball awards.  Wouldn't mind going 3-for-3 this week.

They talked about size being a potential issue for Wabash - but I gotta tell you, there's no way St Thomas is any bigger than Thomas More.  Especially the OL compared to TMC.  I highly doubt St Thomas averages 300 lbs a man on the OL, like TMC had.

I think the Wabash D will hold their own up front.

It looks like they actually average more than 300 lbs on the starting O line.

6'2", 300
6'5", 292
6'4", 287
6'0", 302
6' 9", 350

That is about the only thing I remembered from the 2012 Stagg Bowl.  They had some horses up front on the O line then with a lot of big young kids behind them too.

I stand corrected:

I count 306 as an average.  That's with that monster 6'9" guy.  They are 6 lbs more per man than TMC.  I'm calling it even.  I haven't watched the Tommie OL closely, but I know TMC's was an athletic OL even at 300 per man.  I still think Wabash has seen an OL very similar to this one.

A local news outlet had a nice article about the size of the Tommie O-line last week.

It is in fact the season for "this the biggest/fastest/best whatever Team X has played this year", but I'm with SaintsFAN on this one.  I think Thomas More's offensive line segues nicely into what is waiting in St. Paul this weekend.  That offensive line at TMC had some serious dudes.  We've had some fun in this forum this year with lack of size for Wabash opponents, but TMC was legit.  UST clearly has great size up front, but I do believe Wabash won't be shocked by it in the way a lot of teams are when they step on the field with the upper crust of the division.  You could transplant TMC's offensive line to any other team in the top 10 (or any team remaining in the tournament if you like that better) and not negatively affect that team at all.

I haven't seen UST but I would guess you're correct.  They're nearly identical in size.  I can't imagine there's that much difference in athleticism.  TMC is a top 10 team not some also ran.

You can see them if you want. There is a picture of the UST OLine on the front page: http://www.d3blogs.com/d3football/2015/11/30/atn-podcast-now-those-were-some-playoffs/

The longest running sports talk radio show had about 8 minutes on the Tommies and Wabash yesterday.  http://www.1500espn.com/sportstalk-ondemand/  The November 30th podcast: D3 talk starts at about 4:30.

It is interesting AO, and appreciate your efforts with the link.  Obvious neither commentator had a clue as to what transpired in C'ville (Crawfordsville IN, not Collegeville MN -  ;)) aside of a final score with an OT designation  ;D

What's insane is how much he stands out from the rest of the line in that photo.  Those are not small guys.  He makes the rest of them look like the pee-wee team standing next to the high school team.
I was small but made up for it by being slow...

Albion had a dude that was 6-8 365 lbs.  Again, not saying that kid is the same player that David Simmet is, just noting that Wabash has seen a guy with that kind of size recently.  And they handled it fine.
