We'll probably see official varsity and JV rosters in about a week at this point.

Agreed, I was hoping to see how well informed our M.I.A.A. spies are.

I'd be willing to bet there are going to be a few surprises. Any takers?

The Trine MBB roster is up and as anticipated there are a few subtractions and additions

3 guys on FDF's list did not enroll or are not on the varsity roster:  Collin McCrackin, Jake Schuler and Connor Jones (it's possible that McCrackin and Schuler are on the JV roster, I doubt Jones enrolled at Trine as he was a prior D1 commit), the other 4 guys listed did enroll and are on the varsity roster:  Brent Cox, Terrel Bryant, Michael Barnfield and Justin Pappas.  2 guys that are additions to the roster are Brandan Johnson, 6'2 G Fort Wayne North Side HS, Indiana and Mitchell Geller 6'7 F Huntington North HS, Indiana, both are listed as sophs.  Brandan Johnson is a transfer from NAIA University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne, and Mitchell Geller is a transfer from Anderson University, a D3 school in Anderson IN.  Appears Brandan got a lot of playing time as a Frosh with some starts at Saint Francis.  Mitchell was a bench guy who played around 5-8 minutes a game for Anderson last year.

Of the newbies I am almost certain that Cox, Barnfield, and Johnson will make decent contributions to the rotation.  Geller with his height will probably play as well.  I don't know much about Bryant or Pappas.  Bryant did have some post season honors in HS so you know he can play.

I believe this will be Kzoo's final roster:

Doesn't the time between the beginning of  practice and the announcements of the rosters seem unusually long this year?

Always feels long to me - but it's actually pretty typical that it's 1-2 weeks after the first day until most rosters are posted.

Who is the MIAA favorite this season, any thoughts? http://www.d3boards.com/index.php?topic=4097.msg1948474#msg1948474

I'm not sure there is one.  But I'd probably put Albion, Trine and Calvin in the same basket.

Would like to see other rosters first.  Overall I expect another very tight league with little difference among teams and probably no top 25 caliber team again.
