PSU-Behrend is around 17-2-2 I thought? Could be wrong though.

It was really unfortunate for Endicott to lose in the CCC final, especially after the great year that they had. They lose a ton of scoring, but if they can go out on a high note and roll in this tournament then I think they'll set the tone for seasons to come. Four years ago, Brandeis was in a similar situation - they won the ECAC in 2010, just missed out on NCAAs in 2011, but then dominated their opponents in the 2011 ECAC tourney - and the next year they made it to the NCAA Round of 16. Not suggesting that Endicott has the same level of talent as that team did, nor do they return as many of their players, but the Judges' players made a point to win that tournament in lopsided fashion (they outscored their opponents 13-0 in 3 games) in order to show that they belonged with New England's elite and that they were an NCAA tourney caliber team (as I think Endicott has the talent to do this year.) Winning a postseason tournament in dominant fashion - even if it's not the one that you ultimately want - can make people take note, as well as inspire belief in your own camp.

On second thought, any reason why NESCACs never take part in the ECAC tourney? I think Bowdoin used to, but I could be wrong. Is it perhaps to avoid the perceived ignominy of not making NCAAs that playing in the ECAC comes with?

Mr.Right

Nescac's are not allowed to per league rule. Only 1 post-season tournament so it was either NCAA's or ECAC's when Nescac was formed into a league in 2000. Fromm 1993-2000 Nescac's participated in Both

Three of the four New England ECAC quarterfinals ended with one team scoring four goals. Keep an eye on this tournament, folks, certainly to be more goals than in the NCAA tourney. ;)

New to the message board here, saw Endicott play most of the season along with Gordon. EC with a 4-1 W tonight. The Gulls will need to replace a ton of firepower for next season but return the whole back line along with the goalkeeper. They were up there as one of the toughest teams to score on this season. The goalkeeper transfered from Bryant this season and had a great year. Will be interesting to see how they create offense next year but the back line should be even better. Gordon not losing much at all with only 2 starters and will be the clear favorite to repeat the CCC. Lets see if Endicott can keep going in this ECAC tourney. Fun stuff tonight.
