The WIAC canceled all sports for the Fall Semester.

Some people aren't happy unless they are pissed off. May as well use this "time off" to re-energize yourself and come back even more annoying!

Most WIAC Fall sports canceled. Golf and tennis moved to Spring. Announcements on Winter sports determined later.

Add the NACC to the list of all sports postponed for the fall semester.

NACC postpones sports for the FALL Semester.

The date is for December 31, 2020, which basically puts a nail in the coffin for winter sports.

I don't know that people feel that way about starting winter sports on Jan. 1. A lot of conferences (a lot!) have already come out and said this, and you only need 12 games to qualify for whatever championship there might be.

There is a lot of time for D-III members to get together and say, OK, here's when we want to start play for winter sports, here's what the calendar will be, here's when we will hold a championship.

That may be true for winter sports, but this idea of postponing fall sports doesn't seem like it would work out too well. When do they plan on playing all these fall sports anyway? There's spring sports already and winter sports may end later than usual. I just don't see any room to play the fall sports in the spring.

Wesley will continue as Wesley for the time being, but they're being purchased by Delaware State, so we'll have to watch for future changes after 20-21.

Is that in the same sense of Jim Valvano evaluating high school ballers back in the day while wearing a shirt that said Iona College and having people tell him that he wasn't old enough to own a college?

Stick to your day job, ronk. LOL   :P ::) ;D :D ;)

"Canceled" is a better term at this time. They talked about possibly playing football in the spring, but that's up in the air. I didn't hear anything about any other Fall sports playing in the spring. Yes, those Fall sports will, in all likelihood, "come back" as you say, but the 2020-2021 SEASON may not exist for many Fall sports.

The Ivy League is canceling all Fall Sports. They were the first to cancel conference tourneys in the Spring...

Stout's schedule, not sure if that has already been posted either.

I think Stout has theirs up in January.  ;D

Don't recall if anyone posted Eau Claire's schedule.

News from the SLIAC board.

It has come to my attention that I missed a game for GU's non-con.

GU @ UW-Whitewater (UW-W 2019-20 record // 7 - 19)
Game to be played on December 15.

I believe Pacific runs an uptempo modified system style of play. Fun to watch, indeed.

Whatever the case, I guess it's not a huge deal and it is nice to see new opponents. Stevens Point isn't too much further than La Crosse for Augie. Besides, they've also met in Wisconsin Dells before. I suppose based on recent results, I just want to play CCIW teams in the postseason anyway.

That is disappointing and interesting. Augie did find room to play three other WIAC teams. They seemed to have a nice rivalry going even though they seemed to beat Point every time they played in the regular season.
