Not what Lakeland's high-octane pass attack would desire.

Wheaton should be in the #1 spot.

Gotta believe the weather will not be doing Lakeland any favors this weekend.  While both teams play under the same conditions (no kidding Sherlock!), Lakeland is clearly more pass heavy.  Initial forecast is for 1-4 inches of snow on Friday night through Saturday morning.

Temperatures for Saturday are listed as a high of 34, with a low of 11!  Game time should be in the upper 20's with 20-25 mph winds.  Not great passing conditions.  Some weather reports actually list possibility of snow during the game and 3-6 inches of snow.

Real football is played in bad weather. Bring it on! :)

Guess I will make the last post here :)....until school opens up again.
Seems Midd and Amherst has reloaded their assistant Lax coaches..women side.  Midd hired the assist coach at Amherst...a goalkeeper defensive background....while Amherst hired an offensive background assistant..last job was at Div 1 Rutgers and a former player at Notre Dame.  Both new assistants will handle recruiting coordinator duties.

Congratulations to Amherst on hiring that Assistant Coach (and former player) with a Division 1 background.

All the rude responses do is prove that you're unhappy.

I'm glad I'm not you. 8-)

..and has St. Scholastica ranked  ???

Well they are undeafeated. But I have other teams just outside my West top ten (like PLU, Pacific, Redlands, Central, UWSP, UWO) that I'm sure would just roll the Saints.  Same holds for the two one-loss teams from the MWC - I just couldn't find room for them.

You're right about Redlands, the Bulldogs would roll all over the Saints.

We're talking about Oxy? The curse of DW will haunt them for the foreseeable future. That and the chances of another AC walking through the door are slim and none.

Funny and true.

With all the power that the NCAA has, I'm pleasantly surprised that the NAIA is still around.

Surprised to see Trinity get to host a regional this weekend.  The SCAC got three teams in, Southwestern also got a bid on the strength of their performance last weekend.  Five Texas teams got bids including HSU, UT-Dallas, Mary Hardin-Baylor from the ASC.   Other teams coming along are Cal Lutheran (30-1!), Pomona-Pitzer (20-8), UC-Santa Cruz (20-6).

Colorado College is the #2 seed in the Emory regional.

Bracket here:  http://i.turner.ncaa.com/dr/ncaa/ncaa7/release/sites/default/files/images/2013/11/11/diii-womens-volleyball-2013.pdf

Let's go Trinity!

TLU names Jimmy Smith. current coach at Schreiner, as their new men's head coach.   http://tlubulldogs.com/news/2014/4/7/MBB_0407142043.aspx

Don't know if I can remember one SCAC school ever hiring another's coach, though I'm sure it happened along the way somewhere.

You know that old saying - there's nothing new under the sun.

Probably about time the SCAC moves their HQ from Atlanta to Dallas. I think the SAA should pick up 2 Scac school's for a football only membership which would give them 8 conference games.

If the SAA does pick up 2 football schools from the SCAC is their a point for the SCAC to continue to support football since then they would have 2 members?

I agree with your HQ idea. But it doesn't have to be Dallas, anywhere in Texas will do.
