I'm sure Silver Lake College would be more than happy to take a beating from Oshkosh just so they can be in the same building as The BeltTM

The Belt is not on the line in a game vs. Silver Lake. I wouldn't even bring The Belt into The Building in that case.

They place eight players on the first team -- not that any coach could put eight players on the floor at once, mind you. And one has to be from each region, whether that region has 80 teams or 38.

Last time I checked, men don't spend time being Twitter trolls.  Children do.

Why is this necessary?

Skunks -- trying to understand what you wrote overnight but "reporting" is not really the same as tabloid journalism. We reported the story thoroughly -- remember that our reporting doesn't include any of the speculation about the nature of the case. Our reporting is about the driving under a suspended license and his failure to show in court, and the outstanding case which that led to being discovered.

Well, back from the D-III basketball Final Four and catching up and will certainly try to find out more about the story this week, but it will be difficult to write something on nothing.

Over in football world, we had advocated for Wilmington returning to the HCAC and Thomas More taking Wilmington's place in the OAC, but that is a little more complicated.

So The Thunder go from ORV (ostensibly 31st) to 6th. Is that one of the biggest jump in the polls on record?

Last year Ramapo went from zero votes (ostensibly 43rd) to 6th.

There's always been pre-sales and Ticketbasterds was used in Salem as well. The parking fee is probably the only major difference.

well, if you have to be in FW here are a few local places to eat.

within reasonable distance of the Coliseum:

Wu's - nicer local chinese restaurant with very good back menu.
Shigs in Pit - BBQ place about 5 minutes away.  Owned by a local microbrewery so they have their own beer on tap. reasonably priced.
Cork and Clever - steakhouse close to the coliseum with a good salad bar
Casa's - local italian chain across the street from the coliseum. nothing spectacular but good food and reasonably priced.
Baker Street- nicer restaurant with steaks and seafood close to the coliseum.
Burger Fi - Good local burger place that also serves beer. reasonably price.

Dupont Rd area north of coliseum:
Black Canyon - nicer restaurant with quality food.
lucky moose - pub feel with a good variety. reasonably priced.

Southwest FW:
Catablu - one of my favorites in town. nicer restaurant. they also usually have good items for special diets.
Eddie Merlot's - higher end steak house.  this is a chain but it is the original.

This list was clutch! Thank you for the recommendations!

Now that Wheaton has lost, the question really doesn't need to be asked, but I'll ask it anyway for fun.

If Wheaton beat Swarthmore for the national championship, what final ranking would they end up as?

In the history of our poll, no voter has ever placed the winner of the NCAA Tournament/playoffs anywhere but No. 1. (True on and Legend has it that one voter requested to do so in the first few years of our poll, but I requested they reconsider and they obliged.

The ARC does not have an all defensive team.

Nope, it does not. It names one player a defensive MVP, and I'll let you guess who the ARC coaches thought was the best defensive player in their conference:

As Ryan said, Patron a very worthy candidate and will almost certainly be an All-America selection.

And the old part of the building is indeed old, and classic, but they have done a ton of work to upgrade it. It has modern concourses and concessions facilities, plus all of the standard in-arena amenities for a facility of its size. I hope the curtains will make it still feel intimate with upper seating covered up.
