agree - 9 of the starters from the Utica game, only 2 are back. IC isn't the only LL school having to fill significant holes on defense however.

What do you all think is / are the most interesting story line(s) going into the 2019 LL season?

That is a great map. Not sure why Hobart was obscured by the cheerleader’s foot as they had a team that played Hamilton, Trinity and Union back then, among others.

9
The new conference branding / symbol looks pretty cool imo.

True. Coach Urick was HC of the FB team btw 77-81.

Foley is one of the GOAT big school ADs and some of the work he did to promote women's athletics while helping UF accomplish major success in the early 2000s is noteworthy.

Other famous Hobart FB alums, aside from the obvious like Ali, who've made it big in entertainment, finance, etc. would probably have to include:

Christopher McDonald 77 (aka Shooter McGavin)
John Hogan 89 (was Chief Risk Officer for Jaime Dimon at Chase for a bit)
Pierre McGuire 83 (played QB for two years while being a hockey standout)
Babe Kraus '24 (pro player and bart FB and Lax coach)
Craig Stine '81 (Credit Suisse)

Has anyone heard updates regarding the "NYS Bowl"? Is the idea dead after last year's debacle?
TBD - apparently no one counted on the possibility of IC and Cortland ending up in 2nd place 2x so if it is to survive we need some of the other LL and E8 teams to knock them down a bit (or hope for the Bombers and Dragons to win their respective leagues).

XFL has been having "showcases" around the country, but I haven't seen his name listed at one yet.

There have been a handful of D3 guys like Nick Giorgio from SC, Matt Conroy of Salve and Ryan Schmidt of SLU (he almost made the AAF Apollos roster) have attended, however.

So which teams do you think are going to be on the rise in 2019?

Delaware Valley grad Rasheed Bailey will be on the Winnipeg Blue Bombers this CFL season, which I believe is starting this week.
