Congratulations to the WashU in St. Louis Men's Cross Country team on being selected to participate in the 2019 NCAA D3 Championships. And to the WashU Women's Cross Country team on their selection to the 2019 NCAA D3 Regionals.

WashU Coach goes out on a high note with the Bears defeating Carroll 62-14. WashU football Coach Larry Lindbom concluded his career with a 220-149-1 (.596) overall record in 37 seasons as a head coach, including a 192-119 (.617) record in 31 seasons at WashU. Kudos Coach!

I'm a college football buff and a geography buff, so your map has special meaning to me. Thank you very much for putting it together.  :)

The Secretaries Cup is a great old rivalry featuring the Coast Guard Academy and the Merchant Marine Academy. Yesterday's football game between the two programs was a barn burner with the Merchant Marine Mariners coming out on top over the Coast Guard Bears, 56-41. *Kudos to Coast Guard head football coach Bill George who just wrapped up his 21st and final season. Enjoy your retirement!

The Hoss Cartwright Rivalry - Sul Ross State University vs Hardin Simmons University. Actor Dan Blocker (of Bonanza fame) played football at both schools. He played one season at Hardin Simmons and then three at Sul Ross State where earned a bachelor's and a master's degree. It's not an official rivalry, but it's fun.

Wheaton should be in the #1 spot.

Gotta believe the weather will not be doing Lakeland any favors this weekend.  While both teams play under the same conditions (no kidding Sherlock!), Lakeland is clearly more pass heavy.  Initial forecast is for 1-4 inches of snow on Friday night through Saturday morning.

Temperatures for Saturday are listed as a high of 34, with a low of 11!  Game time should be in the upper 20's with 20-25 mph winds.  Not great passing conditions.  Some weather reports actually list possibility of snow during the game and 3-6 inches of snow.

Real football is played in bad weather. Bring it on! :)

Guess I will make the last post here :)....until school opens up again.
Seems Midd and Amherst has reloaded their assistant Lax coaches..women side.  Midd hired the assist coach at Amherst...a goalkeeper defensive background....while Amherst hired an offensive background assistant..last job was at Div 1 Rutgers and a former player at Notre Dame.  Both new assistants will handle recruiting coordinator duties.

Congratulations to Amherst on hiring that Assistant Coach (and former player) with a Division 1 background.

All the rude responses do is prove that you're unhappy.

I'm glad I'm not you. 8-)

..and has St. Scholastica ranked  ???

Well they are undeafeated. But I have other teams just outside my West top ten (like PLU, Pacific, Redlands, Central, UWSP, UWO) that I'm sure would just roll the Saints.  Same holds for the two one-loss teams from the MWC - I just couldn't find room for them.

You're right about Redlands, the Bulldogs would roll all over the Saints.

We're talking about Oxy? The curse of DW will haunt them for the foreseeable future. That and the chances of another AC walking through the door are slim and none.

Funny and true.

With all the power that the NCAA has, I'm pleasantly surprised that the NAIA is still around.
