3-4 ft
too windy
and of course when it rains dog droppings, pesticides, Tijuana raw sewage, and cigarette butts all end up where the waves meet the shore.

Damn shame. Dying  (literally in some cases) sport around here.

The reason is because they always seem to make it to the post-season ranked pretty high and they go and get beat pretty bad.  All these high expectations year in and year out with no results.

Shane Falco
I have some thoughts and opinions that I believe is the reason for the for the lack of success in the postseason, but I'm going to keep that to myself.

I am not able to walk a mile in anyone's mocassins but I will express an opinion because I saw the last two NCAA tourneys. LINFIELD chose to play percentages and conservative while the teams that won let it rip.

It should be a fun summer. I start work March 20th.

I would like a summer that started on the last day of winter!
Good luck to you.

Thanks again to Wildcat11....

Had to take a break after a Mishap in the Mud before I felt like watching the other two.
Oh well.

The board of trustees?
Wow! LINFIELD has really set their Hall of Fame moral clause high. Bobby wouldn't make it.
It appears Bobby Moore was forgiven his 'Cool Hand Luke' arrest for jacking parking meters while in Eugene.

One of the great basketball games in the (RIP) Riley Gym featured the U of O frosh team of Moore and several other prominent All-Staters vs. LINFIELD J.V.'s. Remember, no dunking, three pointers or palming the ball when you start a move back then.
Mike Smithey ('71 NAIA Champion baseball pitcher/Roy Helser nephew) was unconscious from 25-30 feet away and the WILDCATS embarrassed Oregon.

I was thinking after all that video it should have ended on the WW winning td just for balance. Sort of a wham, wham, wham wham, ploop.

Some hard hitting on both sides I see at a second glance.

Doesn't even hurt to take a second glance nowadays.

some guy named Jake Cutler might be picked ahead of him in the draft, I would have been pretty surprised. As it turns out, that might in fact happen. I guess we'll see.
Foss guy....I just know you don't believe that wholeheartedly because we are aware that billion dollar business has tracked these kids since 14 or so and look at the whole package of developement, not one game.

Good to see all you hibernators roll over, burp, break wind and come on here before you snore and drool again...
Wildcat11 thanks for the entertainment. Your defensive proclivities are firmly ensconced in your work now.
Iím surprised no one made a big deal about the amazing one-hand punt in the PLU game. First time I was aware of it.
Thanks for the Brett links every one. Let us know if any of you get response from commenting on the slog.
I would think there would be many heading to the March 2nd audition if itís indeed open to the public. I would if I could.

What is the deal, people? Is it too much to read the front page before complaining??

Must be the smog.

Not only did they demonstrate a gross misunderstanding of the correct time and place for what can be a classic comedic move   they seriously damaged the reputation of their school, which has taken great strides to try and overcome a reputation as the "third" high school in the district.

oops...that and streaking will get you registered as a sex offender that will stay with you the rest of your life nowadays.

Can only bring up Glory Days...

Jeffrey Weidel, Gold Country News Service
Auburn, Calif.

"He was driven, intense, possessing a competitive nature so great he
could motivate an entire team just with his actions. Yet glancing back
on his stellar basketball career at Sierra College, Gary Donnell would
rather have other people discuss his immense inner drive."

"After two years at Sierra, there were choices again for Donnell, who
opted out of a letter-of-intent to Gonzaga University and decided on
Linfield College, a powerful NAIA college in McMinnville, Ore.
Linfield coach Ted Wilson heard about the exploits of Donnell on
practically every trip to Roseville while visiting his longtime friend
George Sargent."

"I worked at the Texaco station (at Keehner Avenue and Douglas
Boulevard) near my house and Ted used to fill up his Orange
Thunderbird there," Donnell said. "He was always talking to me about
Linfield. I decided not to go to Gonzaga and just showed up at the
Linfield campus one day and he got me in."

(I trust that is the 's' sound at the end of your handle because you are in for a great deal of harrassment during your career on these boards if it is the 'k' sound)

Allow me to demonstrate how to take karma down rather quickly
with a co-curricular education with the College of St. Benedict.  That, in essence, makes it a co-ed institution, but has the benefit and burden of two separate administrations.
AND not having to deal with TITLE IX issues.

John Gagliardi is a fantastic coach.  He realizes that football is just a game, but at the same time,
is undefeated against LINFIELD in 45 years

Have fun wading through all the information on these boards.
