Where were we?

We have the Pool A bids

With the Conference Championship over, 35 Pool A bids have been earned.  What remains to be awarded are the 6 Pool B bids and the 13 Pool C bids.  D3baseball.com, with paper, pencil and calculators, will be looking at the bids at 9p EDT to see how we will fill out the playoff picture.  Once we make our predictions we will seed the tournament and then wait until the early morning when we expect the decision of the selection committee.

I think the top of the Pool B comes down to Salisbury, St, Scholastica and Ithaca. in this order.

Clarkson will be the Pool A selection from the Liberty League for the New York region.

My next pool B bid schools are Chapman, Washington, York and Bethany Lutheran.  I like them in this order. 

I think that BL needed to win the UMAC to knock York off

I noticed that on the blogs there was some support for CNU over York but it is important to know that The Pool B bids are for schools without an automatic bid.

Ralph - I hope you agree with me that if a Pool B team does not make it in in Pool B they have little chance in the Pool C

IMO: after the first three Pool Bs, Chapman, WashU and York were not going to get Pool Cs if it comes to that.

I agree.  Pool B is much weaker than it was about 4-5 years ago.  Emory did not have as good of a year as they might have had.
