Anyone have any details on the first scrimmage? Thought I heard in an interview that it is Friday?

I believe there are scrimmages on this Friday and Saturday and then again the following Saturday, all at 6 PM.

2019 hasn't even started and the 2020 and 2021 non conference games are already scheduled for UMHB! Simpson College of the ARC will be coming to UMHB to open the season and then the Cru will head to Iowa in 2021.

I like the thought of a UMHB game being just a four-hour drive from here!

The first scrimmage for who?

For TLU, it's 7pm next Thursday at Trinity.  According to their web site, a record 162 players (with 86 true freshmen) reported to camp.  They return 17 starters (8 offense/9 defense) and last year's ASC special teams POTY kicker.

Oops, forgot to mention UMHB.  But I'm always looking for a way to watch a college football.  I "might" have watched UMHB's scrimmage on youtube in Spanish last year...

One of my students, who doesn't know anything about UMHB, made the prediction that they lose 3 games this year. I told him I'd post that here and let y'all respond.  Anyone want to chime in? these will be read allowed in class.
My wife and I are Alumni of both UMHB and HSU.  You think you are confused, my kids don't know which Purple and Gold team to pull for.

If you count intrasquad scrimmages and the Stagg Bowl, you might get close.

Prediction, solid season, W's through the conference, A test with HSU and TLU, Third round playoffs and Stagg will be the post season tests hoping for a stagg participation - very optimistic

Anything can happen, we lost to HSU in 2015 - still moved onto post season play and lost to Linfield (The snap that ran away from everyone)

I mean, it could happen... But it has only happened three times in what, 21 years and the last time was in 2006?
