Be sure to read the article on Rocco that you can get to from the front page.

Matt Florjancic has a sports radio show in Oberlin? Isn't that an oxymoron. Maybe they pick it up at the Riddell plant. Tongue

I like all the new logos being suggested.  Let's hope crypurple gets his wish to have the new avatar for next year! Grin

Now Suit,
Clinging to the past won't help your team on the field this year... Wink

And besides, (in best Jack Nicholson voice)
YOU WANT ME ON THIS BOARD. YOU NEED ME ON THIS BOARD!

well, Mount is undefeated and #1 in the country this year.  Mount has the #1 rated QB this year.  Mount has the winningest coach ever this year.  Mount is the defending national champions again this year.  Mount is winning games 42-9 this year.

We can talk about the past, once your program has one.

"And if any of you touch my stuff....I'll kill ya!"

Lighten up Francis!

If you are this touchy when things are going this well, what will you do when Mount loses a game?

But all the emotion in the world doesn't change the fact that not one of the things you just mentioned will mean a thing when the game starts.

Doesn't seem like any Mount fans took the bait and offered to actually make the bet. I can't say I blame them...

I guarantee that question raised plenty of purple eyebrows.  They're all sitting there looking at their computers with blank faces trying to figure out what would happen in a situation like that.

Could NCAC get three in if Allegheny beats Witt this weekend??

What the hell are you smoking?  You need to share.

I think having LK on your sideline means something when the game starts and when they're handing out the hardware.  It's meant something for MUC nine times more than your Warhawks and ten times more than my Polar Bears.

Mount is fortunate to have LK at head coach.   He doesn't matter once the whistle blows, but he wears that visor so well.  Its not like the man can coach up some QB's or anything.

Mount lost four times during my time in school, more than most students at Mount.  Let me put that into Wisconsin public school terms, thats one less loss than UWW has against MUC.

lets try and focus on the WIAC bud

In Leonard Reich's article on 2 November 2009, #1 Football Hosts #15 Otterbein in Battle of OAC's Top Two Teams, he reported on:

Mount Union Career Receiving Leaders

1. Adam Marino                   197 rec       3,436 yds          40 TD     1997-2000

2. Pierre Garcon                  202 rec       3,363 yds          47 TD     2005-2007

3. Ed Bubonics                    174 rec       3,179 yds          35 TD     1989-1991, 1993

4. Cecil Shorts III                 144 rec       2,772 yds          38 TD     2007-present

(Prior to 2002, playoff games do not count in NCAA Statistics if those stats counted Adam Marino would have 272 rec. for 4,704 yds with 52 TD’s)

I like to think of the full body of work for PRaider football teams and players and would like to see stats, including post season, for Ed Bubonics.

Are those four somethin' or what?  I'm fortunate enough to have seen them all and then some, including the gun-slingers that threw the passes.

Thanks,

pt

I haven't been on much because I have been busy at work, although that stupid bird as my avatar does annoy the heck out of me.  Grin

I will be in Columbus this weekend for National Guard duty.  Not sure if I'll make it over to the game.  I skipped out on most of Saturday last month to catch the MUC-CAP game.  Probably not the best thing to do it two months in a row...

I think that if OTT really lost all those guys for the season, then they are in deep trouble, and it's possible that JCU could get them as well in week 10, which would leave the winner of this CAP-ONU matchup as OAC #2 and hard to leave out.  I know a lot of things have to happen in the next few weeks with some more teams losing, but it is possible...

RC --- its a longshot, but possible.  If 'Gheny wins this weekend at Witt (no small accomplishment), they'll win the AQ by way of "Rose Bowl Rule" and then BOTH Witt and Wabash have good wins over Regionally ranked teams.

Two teams MAYBE, but Three, not that likely.

For some reason, I don't think all of the injuries reported in the Dispatch are "season-ending".  I still think MUC/MUU/UMU is being duped by Coach Loth.  Several of the players reported as done for the year amazingly showed up on the two-deep published by the Otter SID.  Oh well, prepare for everyone.  As mentioned before, I hope they play.  No excuses, let the best team win.

Ott is just making sure the excuses are well documented before they lose. MUC doesn't put quotes in the paper if a player or player goes down. Someone else steps in and performs. The depth is a real asset.
