I'll take three weeks for you, Tom. I'll take whatever nobody else wants.

I can take a week or two.  This actually might be good... we could get the entire schedule selected before the season even starts!

I think it works better when you set up the schedule on a week-by-week basis. That way you won't end up with matchups that look great in preseason but appear more lopsided once the season actually begins and teams reveal themselves to be better than, or worse than, people thought they'd be before November 15.

As posted before, I could use some help picking games this year.  You can randomly assign yourself a week or weeks to spread the responsibility around a little.  I'd appreciate the help.  Just "quote" the post and fill in the week(s) you are willing to select games.  Thanks

All game weeks are Monday through Sunday.

WEEK 1:  Nov 16-22...Old School
WEEK 2:  Nov 23-29
WEEK 3:  Nov 30-Dec 6
WEEK 4:  Dec 7-Dec 13
WEEK 5:  Dec 14-Dec 20
WEEK 6:  Dec 21-Jan 3 (2 wks, 10 total games)...Old School
WEEK 7:  Jan 4-Jan 10
WEEK 8:  Jan 11-Jan 17  Mr. Ypsi
WEEK 9:  Jan 18-Jan 24
WEEK 10:  Jan 25-Jan 31
WEEK 11:  Feb 1-Feb 7...Old School
WEEK 12:  Feb 8-Feb 14  Mr. Ypsi
WEEK 13:  Feb 15-Feb 21

The following week looks like conference tourneys.

I've grabbed a couple of later weeks, since I was afraid the matchups might be really bad if I tried to go early!

But I didn't pick week 13, 'cause I plan to be leading by then and thought it might look suspicious! Cheesy

[I trust you will remind us when our week(s) come on the horizon.]

Better to pick games week to week.  I haven't even looked at the schedules, so I have no idea what games are going on.

Since I'm running it, I'll take the last week instead...

We'll see how many posters we get to help out and then I'll just assign weeks, unless they already note them.

Good stuff everyone.  Thanks for helping out!  The boss (wife) is trying to cut down on my computer time, but she's having a hard time doing that.  Yeah, I'm blaming my wife and it's true! lol :-)  So, glad you can keep my homefront in good standing.

Of course, all because "you" don't contribute to the scheduling, doesn't mean you can't play.  Everyone is welcome to play!  Guess I should look at the first week's games!

I'm starting to check out interesting matchups for my weeks. Are there any sort of ground rules you want us to follow for picking games?

Try to have games posted by the end of the previous weekend.  Have games start no earlier than Wednesday to give us time to pick...unless there is a "can't miss" game on Tuesday.
