All I have to go on for the AU/Ithaca game is what I saw against from both teams against Fisher. Just judging on what I saw on the field, I will take:

If Seckey is out:
AU 45
IC 10

IF Seckey plays:
AU 60
IC 6

Just one mans oppinion.

Alfred can win, but it'll be a close one.

24-14. AU.

As they say, that is why they play the games. I don't know how IC can win this one, but to be honest, it seems they always pull out a game late in the year against someone. Welch's teams do seem to get better as the year goes on, so we will see.

Springfield 35
Fisher 24

It is a real tough challenge for Fisher today. The game has so many implications for SC, and Fisher really is out of the race. I think that is a good pick. They key will be how the SC option attack moves the ball. Fisher has seen this type of offense against Salisbury, but I don't think they have enough.

Play the game they will!
Saxon 73 was very impressed with Kilcarr stepping in (and stepping up)and he is obviously a quality QB.  With a standout H.S. career he came to Alfred at the same time as Secky.  I understand they fought it out and Secky got the Start.

Kilcarr being there, has had two years as backup to learn the system and the respect of his teammates.  The O line supported him well v SJF and it is high time Rodney Dangerfield took a hiatus from Mayberry.

Saxon73 cannot attend due to reoccuring health difficulties but will try to post on in game site for anyone interested.

May each team play well and noone get injured.

yea. springfield is really firing on all cylinders now too. that offense is tough to stop when they're rolling.

Agreed. I am just hoping the bye week gave Fisher a chance to get healthy and prepare for the spread option offense that SC runs. Should be a fun one.

So Yanks, in all seriousness, with the results of the games today, does your argument about this NOT being a down year for the E8 change at all?

Time for me to eat some crow. I was way wrong with the IC game today. I really did not see that one coming.

SJF's D stepped up huge today...

Held SC to under 160yards rushing...

SJF's O racked up 530+ yards compared to 180 for SC...

Dominating performance by both sides of the ball, the Special Teams still leaves a lot to be desired though...

Might be a little too late though to pull it all together...

ECAC's chances are looking great with a win next weekend...

Bombers played a well rounded game and all aspects of the game were solid.  If by some chance alfred loses at utica then what?? With four teams with 2 loses? Shocked
