Mary-Hardin Baylor 21 and McMurray 21 at the half.  I would say sloppy play if it wasn't at that gym.

Final  -- McMurry 69 UOzarks 58.

The game was closer than the final score.  McMurry hit the last 6 points in the final 60 secs.

UOz made a couple of runs at McMurry but could never go ahead.

Thanks to HPU for livestats.

1H 3:45   McMurry 26, HPU 25.  A classic in the making.  Both teams are bringing it all, as usual.

And HPU rattles off 4  6 9 straight points.  That is the long-suffering fan's nightmare.  You check a score, and then things get worse.   :-\

HPU 47-35; 12 minutes left in the game.
HPU 67 McM 47 3 minutes left.  The Jackets want to host the tournament!

HPU 29 HSU 23 1H   HSU has had troubles with turnovers.  5:09 left

HPU 56-52 9:45 left

HPU  by 7; 8:46 left

HPU  by 10.  No time given at the commercial break.

Final  HPU 85, HSU 74

IMHO, HPU is now the favorite in the tourney.

It was a great start but they cooled off the last few minutes.  They'll get things corrected at halftime and start out strong in the 2nd half.  Just have to take better shots and play better defense on their shooters.

Where did this team come from?

Now they must keep it up!

McMurry 30-15 at the half.

Final

McMurry 60, HPU 42.

Concordia TX is in the driver's seat and Coach Rainbolt (former asst at McMurry) can win his first Division title!
