Thanks to a little home cooking, UPS won a half. Loggers up 29-26. Gonna be a close one if refs keep responding to UPS players flopping around like European soccer players. 9-1 foul disparity until the last couple of possessions.

Neither team is shooting real well, UPS just doing a better job of finding the open man around the hoop. UPS really packing in their D and Whitworth hasn't been able to make em pay from outside.

Whitman up 36-33 at the half. Whitworth had too many turnovers, wouldn't be upset to see Valle sit for awhile in the second half. He's struggled. The Pirates should be shooting around 70% from the field again tonight, but when you miss 2 and 3 footers it makes it tough.

Whitman is shooting well from 3 (6-13) and will need to continue shooting above 40% as well as continue to force TO's if they want to win. If they cool down in either area, Whitworth will pull away.
