I am frustrated by the lack of attention put into the "other" site.  I answered or responded to a coupe posts on the "other" site as well.

Kickin, I am diapointed in both sites up to this point. One is full of spam, and the other seems to have little interest in soccer. Maybe that will change as the season gets closer.

Other than Loras, Wartburg, or Central, what other reams in the IIAC could make some noise the conference. Last year Simpson was much improved, Coe seems to have a better recuiting base with the new coach, and Luther was strong at times last year. Any chance for these teams to be improved enough to contend?

I watched Loras in North Carolina at the Final Four last year and they could have used their sweeper - it will be interesting to see him back this season.  Loras has certainly established themselves as a West region/Midwest area powerhouse over the past few years.

I'm sure they'll show up well in this year's first ever D3soccer.com national poll.

Any chance that the Regions get updated with teams and schedule/results?

We will have men's pages for sure and we're trying to figure out a way to get women's pages up as well.

Like D3baseball.com, we'll only have full schedule and results for conferences in the PrestoSports network.

Other than the obvious chose of Mejia and Bonnilla from Loras, who are going to be the difference makers in the league from each team? Any thoughts anyone?

The addition of Baumbach should eventually help B-V's fortunes, but it will be a long hard road.

BV has a nice soccer facility.  Storm Lake is just a long way from top soccer playing areas of the state.

Then again, I just want to see Dubuque move up the ranks in the IIAC!!!

Dubuque has a nice returning core. Chad Newquist, an aggressive and scrappy player along with Pablo Martinez, who can score, should allow Dubuque to be competitive. Whether they can finish in the top half will remain to be seen. Luther, Coe and Simpson should also be better. Loras should be dominate. Wartburg and Central are looking to maintain their standing in the top of the conference after personel losses, so it should be interesting.

Dubuque's campus and new football facility are great which could help not only in football recruiting, but other sports such as soccer as well.

Wartburg has new asst. men's coach Josh Sanderson
Formerly a graduate assistant coach at NCAA Division II Bemidji State University in Minnesota from 2007-09, Sanderson also gained coaching experience at North Dakota State University as a volunteer assistant in 2006-07 and with the Red River Soccer Club of Fargo, N.D., as a head and assistant coach for various boys and girls squads from 2006-08. He earned his bachelor's degree from NDSU in December of 2005 and a master's degree from Bemidji State in May of 2009. Sanderson is in his first year with the Knights in 2009-10.

Their on campus field was re-done last fall and lights are going up now.

Wheaton opens the season hosting Luther on the 4th.  Should be a good test for young Luther and a rebuilding Wheaton.
