Ohio Northern-- Schnelle 27 kills, 10 digs; Roeser 31 digs

To the surprise of no one, Wittenberg wins the NCAC tournament by 3-1 (24-26, 25-22, 26-24, 25-12) over Hiram.  It is the Tigers' third straight conference tournament championship, and their twelfth in the last 13 years.

Just speculating-- between Hiram,  and OAC's Heidelberg, Mt. Union and Capital-- could be a real sweat-out  for at least one of those squads. Lips Sealed Lips Sealed Undecided Undecided

This just in:  Calvin wins the MIAA championship over Hope
                          (15-25, 25-23, 25-23, 25-13) --on Hope's home floor yet!
(now add Hope into the mix as an at-large --more potential sweating!!)

#1 seed Bluffton wins the HCAC AQ bid, beating #2 seed Mt. St. Joseph 3-2 (22-25, 13-25, 26-24, 25-18, 15-12).

This ends a dynasty in HCAC volleyball: MSJ had won the regular season title outright 9 times in the past 11 seasons (since joining the HCAC), shared the title in 2007, and won the tournament over #1 seed Franklin in 2002, the only season in which they did not have at least a share of the title.

For anyone interested in the Hope Regional, here is a link to the Regional web site, which includes team info, a travel advisory (due to road construction), as well as links to live stats and a live video feed of all the games
