+1 for the effort.

As someone who knows the west region more intimately than the others I would LOVE to see an ASC team atop the Central region and I'm not sure it's THAT far fetched.

Unfortunately I believe this list has at least 6 teams flying (Chapman, Tyler, Trinity, Pomona, TLU, Mississippi), which apparently the NCAA won't do.

For that reason I think we'll see Pac Lutheran make it over TLU and they'll bus down to McMinnville.

Cheers,

JSG

If Rochester does make it in, St. John Fisher should be seeded higher. Fisher beat Rochester twice during the regular season. Fisher IMO is the two seed in Auburn.

God I hope not!  With the dominance of Chapman winning the west region, I would hate to give them another advantage.

Central scenarios: regardless of who wins Pool A bids in SLIAC and CCIW, I have them ranked:
* denotes Pool A bid. FYI: Ripon won the MWC Pool A

If BV and Carthage win:
1. BV
2. Carthage
3. North Central
4. Webster*
5. SNC
6. North Park

If Wartburg and Carthage win:
1. Carthage
2. BV
3. North Central
4. Webster*
5. SNC
6. North Park

If BV and IWU win:
1. BV
2. North Central
3. Carthage
4. Webster*
5. SNC
6. North Park

If Wartburg and IWU:
1. BV
2. Webster*
3. North Central
4. Carthage
5. SNC
6. North Park

*** I have left off IWU and Wartburg as even if they win the Pool A bid, they do not warrant regional ranking in my eyes, but they would be in nonetheless.

What is the impact of today's games?

Frostburg State vs.  Penn State-Behrend (AMCC Tournament at Frostburg State)
Clarkson vs. Skidmore  (LL at Rochester)
Illinois Wesleyan vs. Carthage
North Park-IWU winner at North Central
Richard Stockton vs. FDU-Florham (ECAC Metro Region Tournament Finals)
Montclair State vs. Ithaca
Buena Vista vs. Wartburg (Veterans Memorial Stadium, Cedar Rapids, Iowa)
St. Thomas vs. Augsburg (at Dundas, Minn)
Curry vs. Wentworth (ECAC New England Tournament at Bentley)

Here are the easy calls:
Frostburg/Behrend--winner's in, loser's out
St. Thomas/Augsburg--if St. T loses, they get a Pool C bid and the ripples start to run
Curry and FDU Florham--if either wins their respective ECAC tournament, they get to the bottom of the Pool C bubble (possible but not likely)
A walk is never as good as a hit!

Is it "do or die" for both teams?
