Eau Claire's Singer get POW honors.

Thought that SNC's Kyle Stroh would deserve a mention for his six point weekend.

Pete -

What's going on with the Green Knights?  They seem to have stumbled out of the gate.

Steve --
Couple issues:
1 -- With BJ graduating, still sorting out who will step forward to nail down the No. 1 goalie job.
Looks like it will be either Bosch or Jacobson.  Both have looked good, but also inconsistent.
At this point in the season,  I would give the slight edge to Jacobson.
2 -- Several guys are nicked up, resulted in different lineups each night.
3 -- Cogs is adjusting the forward lines almost every game.
In fact, he had Keefer, Ryd and Stroh working together for the first time late in last Saturday's game.
Worked out fine....look to be the No. 1 line.
4 -- Guys still getting used to each other, with 11 new players on the roster.
We will know more after the upcoming series with River, who enter the weekend undefeated.

NCHA launches new site:
http://www.nchahockey.org/landing/index

The new website looks good and is long overdue.  Now if they can just edit the "League History" section - it states that four different NCHA members have won NCAA championships: River Falls, Superior, Stevens Point, and Bemidji State.

As for SNC this year, the season seems pretty similar to '08-'09 thus far.  Still plenty of time to pull it together though...

Sounds like some post-game "tension" in Falls and Point tonight.  That, plus the absence of no clear frontrunner in the league at the moment makes me wonder if the NCHA has warped back into the 1990's.

Based upon what I saw during the hand shake and poor sportsmanship by a couple of RF players, I was waiting for a Rob May incident.

Congrats to the Blugolds on gaining their second consecutive title in the Adrian Turkey tourney this afternoon with their 3 -- 1 victory over Buffalo State.

Does anyone see anybody getting four points this weekend?

I don't.

Agreed.   Look for a 1 -- 1 split in all three series...

I think Soup will sweep even though I would love to see a split.

The computer rankings suggest that Scholastica has been overlooked. They might surprise this weekend (if not their computer ranking will tumble)

Wow.  27 game home unbeaten streak snapped by CSS last night at the Cornerstone.  That's impressive.
