Once again resurrecting this thread.  I think it is a foregone conclusion that Aston Francis will be national POY for the men.  Is Madison Temple also a shoo-in, or am I forgetting some worthy competitor?

I'd be very surprised if Temple isn't Player of the Year.  :)

Hannah Spaulding (St Thomas), Brandi Dawson (Trine), Kelsi McNamara (St Joe’s Maine), Nakira Examond (Mass-Dart) would seem to be candidates for consideration(AA for sure).  But none are nearly as dominant in so many categories like Temple (on the #1 team too).  23.8 pts, 7.7 rebs, 5.7 asst/g, 2.3 a/to, 2.8 stls/g.  61.8% FG%, 89.2 FT%.

Maybe there's a chance Spaulding could still play her way past Temple with a couple of great performances next weekend. But Temple has to be the leader right now.

Looks like it is Temple, then, as UST loses to Bowdoin in the first semi, with Spaulding getting just 17 points.
