My 2 cents, but I'm beyond confused since we have so many national fantasy leagues I'm not sure which ones are which LOL.

Pick 7 guys for your team for 1 week Monday to Sunday.
You can only use 1 player for that week, which you have to name which game (and even better date) he is getting used.
Once that player is used, he is gone for the year, but since you are picking by day, you can choose to have 7 players all playing on 1 day, split them up half-and-half, or like me, you'll find somebody to play everyday, LOL.

Greek: I like picking day-by-day instead of once or twice a week on a Saturday than a Tuesday/Wednesday because that way I don't have to burn all the UAA guys by Christmas before they become ineligible playing Fridays/Sunday once UAA play stars

I'll wait to submit my roster until we get an official decision from the judge here  ;D.  Of course I have until Midnight Tuesday to get it in anyways, LOL

FINAL OFFICIAL RULES - I PROMISE!!!!

I'm basically doubling our league settings from LAST YEAR. Instead of 5-player rosters from Saturday games only, we are going to do 10/8 players using FRIDAY and SATURDAY games only. I wanted to expand the days, but felt the whole week, and even Wednesday-Saturday was too much of a jump.

So, we'll be selecting 10-player rosters and scoring the TOP 8 players from our 10-man roster. We will be using FRIDAY and SATURDAY games ONLY. This helps a lot because there are leagues out there, like the UAA that play Friday games. It should be fairly easy to find 10 players from the 100s of games played on Fridays and Saturdays.

As for the scoring rule. We select 10 players. I score all 10 players and dump the two lowest scoring players. The two lowest scoring players still count against the 1 & Done concept. So, even if you don't use those players' scores, you CANNOT use those players again...UNLESS, that player doesn't play or team doesn't play (weather, schedule change etc). That is the only time you can use a player more than once.

I think this concept works for everyone because it seemed like everyone wanted to have at least one bench/throw away player. Ever since last year, it seemed like everyone wanted to expand the selection past just Saturdays, especially to help include teams that don't play regularly on Saturdays, like the UAA teams once league play starts. Using Fridays and Saturdays also gives everyone plenty of time to come up with a 10-man roster, preventing the "Oh man, I missed using _____ in Tuesday's game against _____" missed opportunity. Playing just Friday and Saturday games requires a little more strategy too.

Oh yeah, this will also be a FULL SEASON LEAGUE, runnning from next week through the last week of the regular season.

I hope that settles everything. Sorry for the inconvenience and I hope everyone understands the rules. At least I didn't change the rules after the season started, like I did last year!

JUST A REMINDER: Christmas week and New Year's week are exceptions. Since games are scheduled early Christmas week and late New Year's week, we'll be using the same 10/8 roster rule, but you will be able to use games from any day of the week for those two weeks.

So, to be clear: I have to go back and select 10 players for week one again?

Or, you can just name 8 and not waste 2 names for a future week.

I don't like dumping the lowest 2 at all.  I don't even score much in this league anyways, why would I want points, as minimal as they are, dropped??  Even if you averaged 500 points per week I still don't understand why you'd want points dropped  ???

Think of it like Poker. 7 cards to make the best 5-card hand. This also helps the situation where a player is hurt and you don't know it, saving yourself a zero, which happened a few times last year.

I only had two that weren't - so no big deal.  I'll have it posted before the 18th.

Yes. Sorry for any confusion.

You get to use the whole week in the draft league, if we have it.

I'd just like to point out, under the original rules, I would've had Joey Flannery going tonight - he only put up a 33-11-9 tonight.

Now you can use those 33-11-9 another time. Sorry. By the way, half of us probably would've used him tonight too.
