d3board.com Request
« on: September 08, 2019, 01:40:43 am »
This may not be the right area of the board to post this, but I would like to raise awareness to this site displaying an insecure message within the web browser. This message appears because this site is still using HTTP rather than the more secure HTTPS. Today, nearly 80% of all webpages online have made the move. I've noticed the d3football.com website has already made the move, so hopefully we see this website as well. I'm sharing this with no ill intent of spreading negativity, but rather to help make this board a better community of active poster expressing the love of D3 athletics!

Definitely understand where you are coming from. All of the other sites are on a different network and you can probably see that the architecture is pretty different. D3boards is the only site we still host on the same server network we used from 1997-2010 and it probably shows -- I no longer have those skills since it has been a decade since I've had to use them.

We will see what we can do.

Let's discuss (sports) in a positive way, sometimes kidding each other with no disrespect.

Thanks Pat for responding with a detailed answer and showing willingness to look into the issue. It's highly appreciated!

I hope that www.d3boards.com doesn't feel insecure about being an un-secure website.
