Commonwealth Coast home and home series for weekend of Feb. 13-15, 2020.

Note:  This is the last home and home weekend of the regular season, as each team will play 2 opponents on the final weekend.

Commonwealth Coast Conference action -- Weekend of Feb. 13-15, 2020

Western New England eliminated from playoff contention.

5 of 6 spots in conference tournament clinched as of Friday, Feb. 14, with Wentworth and Becker competing for the final spot.

Wentworth clinches  final playoff spot Saturday with either a Wentworth win or a Becker loss.

Update-- Becker clinched a point Saturday to stay alive in the hunt for the final playoff spot.


Becker vs Nichols

1.) Becker 0, Nichols 5  (Nichols clinches spot in conference tournament).
2.). Nichols 5, Becker 4 (OT).

Nichols gets 5 points, while Becker gets 1 point for forcing overtime.


Curry vs Salve Regina

1.). Curry 8, Salve Regina 4
2.). Salve Regina 1, Curry 9

Curry picks up all 6 points this weekend.




Wentworth vs Endicott

1.). Wentworth 2, Endicott 6
2.). Endicott 7, Wentworth 1

Endicott picks up all 6 points this weekend.

Commonwealth Coast Conference Tournament

First Round

#6 seed Wentworth def. #3 Curry, 2-1, at Canton, MA Ice House.

Curry finishes the season at 17-6-3.

#5 seed Nichols vs #4 Salve Regina at the Abbey in Portsmouth, RI.

Tied at 4-4 end of regulation, heading to the 3rd intermission before the start of 20 minute sudden victory overtime periods per NCAA Tournament rules.

Winner goes to Endicott on Saturday, while it is season over for the loser.

Update;-- #5 seed Nichols def. #4 seed Salve Regina, 5-4 at 7:31 into OT.

Salve Regina ends the season at 14-11-1.






Saturday, Feb. 29-- Semifinals

Wentworth at Univ of New England (#1 seed)

Nichols at Endicott (#2 seed)
