Oh, sad.  :'(  He was a lot of fun, and I had hoped to actually meet him some day.  Rest in peace, friend!

I can only echo what has already been posted. Another good guy lost. Peace MUC57.

Sorry to hear about MUC 57. Seemed like a good man/fan.

I'm coming to Collegeville with a UWW alum for that tilt on 9/3. Is there a way to get tickets in advance?

Three or so years ago when I last visited, I called the athletic dept and they offered to sell me some reserved seats.  I think if you send an email or call you may get lucky.

EDIT: I didn't buy them in the end but they offered.

Sing us a song, you're the piano man
Sing us a song tonight
Well, we're all in the mood for a melody
And you've got us feelin' alright.

If you run into problems, lemme know.  I have 4 tix/reserved seats, and I don't know if/how many I'll be using that weekend.  I usually play it by ear with the weather.

And that's why I didn't buy in the end.  Mr duffman is extremely generous.

In the Twitterverse, I am seeing lots of MIAC footballers reporting for fall camp today.  They've begun their 4-5 year journeys of getting their asses handed to them by the Johnnies.  :o

Go Johnnies!
Go MUC57! (RIP)
Boo the rest of the MIAC (and St. Thomas)!

Allow me to translate as I speak fluent Duffman-ese:

"I'd really like to be there with the family but I am super pissed this game is on Labor Day weekend. We will be enjoying the last big summer weekend at the lake cabin and if the weather is good for boating fun then I'll catch what I can on the radio. If the weather stinks I may take off for the game that afternoon. So 2 or all 4 tickets may be available."

retagent, I hope this clarifies the situation.  ;D

Also very sad to hear the passing of MUC57, his posts would always make me smile. Here is a link to his obituary and a possible place to offer condolences to his friends and family:

"Memorial contributions are suggested to Mt. Union Athletic Department."

That's a super fan, RIP MUC57.
