this confuses me.

does the NAC have a bid?

if so, whos tops in this conf?

anyone know??
ive been dormant on here this season, but the analysis is awesome.  I'm a mainah- so I'm pulling for maine teams... the GNAC, do you see SJC getting an atlarge bid if they take suffolk to double elim and win out against keene, usm and bates?  USM is in.  How did Bowdoin fare this year?  Does the NAC have an auto bid?  if so, whats that conference look like?  Havent heard much from there, but probably for good reason.
couple mid week cake walks, 5-3 is a lot closer than I would have thought?
no need for tie breakers, is the gnac tourny still double elim?
anyone know what the conference standings look like?  Looks like a 3 man race between J n W, SJC and Suffolk from what I know
I like the start for saint joes, a bit slow coming out of florida and still trying to find footing on a pretty young staff, did I hear keirstad their number 2 was hurt? but gaining some steam heading into more competitive teams soon.  Hopefully the bats continue to pop and the pitchers keep the ball down
Chattah is good stuff.  If you don't like it you aren't out to enjoy it.  Sitting there not saying anything "because you are too good for that Bush League crap" is, in my eyes, trying to act big league.   We are talking about d3 college ball.  You should cheer and you shouldn't Pimp a homer.  You should [play hard, slide hard, bunt, steal, heckle and do whatver you can to help your team win.  I suppose standing at home plate watching a homer sail of some slob who threw a fastball that Tim Wakefield's would soar past is fantastic.  Too good for the game is too good to play d3.  New England has one of the top regions.  Crazy how that works.  Full props to the kids out there in early April screaming BACK!!! on some lefty's horrible third throw over- just to keep warm (it is afterall cold enough to shatter a metal bat on a bunt attempt.)

Keep playing ball, keep pulling for your boys and if you want to sit around while on the bench, play summerball.  (the hootin and hollerin is for the bars after)

Having a team screaming at you from your own side or the other side gets you fired up and it is a big part of the game.  It adds emotion, fun and competitive spirit.  Plus, a well timed, original jab is awesome.

"Stick to the mustard...tough to Ketchup!!"

"Can I help you?  No, thanks, just looking."
How about Enman from Saint Joes?

Anyone going to take a flyer on the kid in the late rounds?
I have enjoyed what has done for publicity for division 3 baseball.  Especially in New England.  The all-american rankings they coem up with are fun as well.  I have to say, however- that this years rankings are a travesty.

My count may be off, I don't know.  I think I counted 56 players in total named to 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and Honorable Mention.  A whopping 5 players from New England were named.  Are you kidding me?  I am sorry, but the averages need to be considered.  There are teams out West that are playing more games, further spread out and the scores are higher, warmer weather vs weak pitching.  I would line up a team of 9 New England players that should be on that list.

Scotty G From Wheaton hits a 2 run home run to tie the game up with two outs in the 9th inning.  3-3 extras wheaton vs worcester

No, putting the mast up on the sailboat.... Hahah that still sounds bad.

Getting ready for the season!

Monks lose 6-1.  2out rally vs Morin falls short.  Complete game 4 hits 13 k's.

Very impressive!

Monks can come back with a win over (most likely) worcester state

Saint Joe's gets an infield single, a throwing error and then moved over on a ground ball to strand the guy at 3rd

Keirstead on the mound.  Battle of southpaws.
