That would be bigger than the Red Sox overcoming the "curse of the Bambino"!

Is Oxy overcoming the internal problems it has had in recent years?

Why isn't CLU in the top 25?  Has their program slipped?

It was somebody on the SCAC board on December 13.

If the rumors are true that CC will become a member of the SCAC in 2007, than that would be the logical game to schedule as part of the transition for Colorado.

In recent years, several times Cal Tech has had to drop out of the official championship race because they didn't have enough pitchers to play all the games.  Will that happen again this year?

Two teams play Austin so far.

The 2006 Lewis and Clark schedule lists Oxy and Pomona as their first two games.

Warriorhog,

For purposes of these boards do you know specifically about football and roundball?

Here's a song I don't expect to hear in the near future.

Cal Tech
"Fight for California Tech"

Fight men of California Tech
Fight, Fight and win
Win men for California Tech
Rush the foe again,
RAH! RAH! RAH!
Smash the line of our old enemy
Bring home the victory
Fight men of California Tech
For noble C.I.T.

I guess I have too much time on my hands.

I noticed that the UWW game was delayed an hour so that the ground crew could properly prepare the field.

I'll bet that some old Oxy players wish the same thing had happened a few years ago in their famous game with Central.

About three schools in the SCIAC sponsor women's lacrosse.

The Oxy site had something.  I was asking about the SCIAC site.  It should be pretty standard stuff from year to year.

And the SCIAC brings up the rear.

I've been thinking about the Zinda Award.

First, why doesn't the SCIAC SID explain what this award is all about?
Isn't performance, sportsmanship, and academics what D3 sports are all about.  This it is truly a great honor to have been named its winner.

Also, do other conferences have such an award?

Thank you.

Oswald,

Can you give me my annual reminder as to what the Zinda award is for?

Also, who is (was) Zinda?
